do any of you take melatonin to help you fall asleep?
ive been taking 6 mg to help and it doesnt very much :(
what am i doing wrong

One time I had the liquid melatonin, chugged the whole bottle and didn't feel anything.

I only take it to counteract the vyvanse that I take for my ADHD

I think it only works on certain people. My friend used to take it and it worked for him while another didn't experience anything. Idk

ya know what forget what i said about 100mg.  80mg should be plenty.

The one and only time I tried melatonin, it made me sleep worse.

Melatonin doesnt actually help you sleep, it just helps to reset your body clock so it knows when to sleep.

The thing with melatonin is your body produces it naturally.  It's almost always marketed as a "sleep aid" because it's a non-prescription "supplement", and not guaranteed to work.

If taking melatonin (especially large doses) doesn't work, consider talking to your doctor about sleep issues.  There may be something else preventing proper sleep.
