Sounds more like a version made to run on a commodore if you look at what's left.

It's way lame that they're removing this much content.

And here I was, thinking that a sequel is supposed to bring more to the game, not strip it of features.

Wow, forget you too EA.

Guess I'll be playing Sims 3 for the next half-decade, plus waiting for your expansions to become dirt cheap on Steam before I even consider buying them. Luckily Valve gets a cut of whatever I'll be buying from EA in the future.

wow, this game went down quicker than i thought

I'm sure someone said this on a different thread but forget it

TotalBiscut will have a field day on this one.

More OT:
That's not to mention the fact that my parents are gullible buffoons and are "so eager" to purchase the newest Sims game when they have like $300.00 worth of DLC (No, I'm not kidding.) for Sims 3+2 that will not be at all useful for you in the new one.

Sims 2 was the stuff, and Sims 3 lacked a few features i would have liked to see but it was still fantastic. Im so disappointed right now. How could they screw up so badly.

I own sims 3 but I've never gottan around to playing it. I don't think I've ever even played a sims game to be honest.

the thinking behind it is something along the lines of "if we strip enough well liked features, people will buy dlc to get them back". It's worked in other games before, and EA has a nasty habit of saying that things aren't possible when they actually are

I really wanted to see Werewolves and Alien Babies and Bigfoot and the cool robots/toy crafting from Sims 2: Open for Bussiness back in Sims 3 but i guess not

this is 100% (or maybe 90%) bullstuff.

game companies want to attract players to get money, they don't want to piss off players, because they won't get any money.

what the op is talking about is probably some console version of sims 4 or something.

I'm going to make up some probably gonna happen DLC if this is true.

The Sims 4: Water Park DLC. Includes pools, slides, some water-related furniture, and a water-park lot in your world!
The Sims 4: Landscape DLC. Adds the ability to adjust the landscape. Adds some more textures, some more trees and plants.
The Sims 4: Sims City DLC. Create your own world, or edit a world. Change community lots and add more lots.
The Sims 4: Get a loving job DLC. Adds normal jobs, and job related stuff!
The Sims 4: Open World DLC. Go anywhere anytime, we really just made you have to load in the base game so you buy this DLC.
The Sims 4: Family DLC. Adds Toddlers, and Story Progression! Adds some family related stuff.
The Sims 4: Weather DLC. Adds rain, snow, and outdoor wear, and some objects.
The Sims 4: Seasons DLC. Adds seasons, doesn't include rain or snow! Adds some objects.
The Sims 4: We Fixed it I swear DLC: Adds everything else that was supposed to be added.

And you'll have to buy cheats with sims points.
Let's hope none of this is true, shame to see Sims 4 become a stuff game.

The Sims 4: Sims 4 DLC

Where was this information obtained? The demo?

The create a sim is neat though, Everything else not so good.
