How do I deal with the old models? I flash them but they still seem to barge in and masking doesn't work

I'm mostly curious about that cutscene where you're in old Freddy's POV, looking at old Chica and old Bonnie.
I wonder what Freddy is thinking, and if his consciousness is still in his new suit.
See, I'm surprised nobody acknowledged this further, because in the minigames it shows only freddy, and the puppet. I'm going to assume one is the lesser evil. The puppet is new, and terrifying, but in the minigame freddy (you) chases him back into his box (seeing how he is a jack in the box) could this mean the puppet is just misunderstood, or is the puppet up to something, because he's really a whole different beast, he's not even an animationic really, or he at least doesn't look the part.

if any of the old models beside foxy come in you need to stand still
atleast from my experience

Is it just me or do the new attack animations look really bad compared to those in the first game.

Somethings telling me Scott rushed this near the end of development. I really hope he fixes some issues and cleans it up a bit later on. Also Oculus Rift support would be nice.

Why would you need Oculus Rift support for this game. It's all pre-rendered cutscenes, and it would be pretty difficult to play the game if you had no mouse cursor to view where you're clicking.

I'm pretty sure he realized how over the top the old animations were, so he just toned them down.

Why does everything need Oculus Rift

you need to throw on the mask almost instantly and leave it on for a few seconds after the screen fades

yeah, the animations look kind of cheap when they fly out of a wall, scott could make them always come from the big opening infront of you if they leap instead of directly infront of you

While I'm not too sure if it's a prequel or sequel, I am heavily leaning on it being a prequel.
Nevermind, in the process of typing this I've found it's definitely a prequel. Yes, Scott said it took place after the first. However, this was probably a red herring, seeing how it actually turned out.

Think of the phone guy. How is he alive when he died in the first game? Considering Scott made sure it was the same voice (himself), it means that the second game takes place before the first.

Then there's the animatronics, old and new. Remember how he said the old animatronics were being used as spare parts? If this is indeed a prequel, then you would have to assume the "new" animatronics were scrapped or destroyed and the old ones were eventually reused (for FNaF1). Also, since the broken animatronics are referred to as "old", there must have been a previous rendition of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza that was shut down. On top of that, you can't forget about how they tried to make a new, more kid-friendly Foxy, to be put in an area meant for toddlers. However, the kids were extremely touchy; they constantly broke Foxy, to the point of needing repairs every day. Eventually, they just gave up on rebuilding Foxy, leaving him as a "put together, take apart attraction". Foxy was always around kids.

This all leads into the final piece of evidence: the game's ending.

Read it and weep.

I'll start with the newspaper. It reads that the place is closing down, after being open for only a few weeks. The new robots were scrapped, but the old ones were being held on to, just in case they are one day needed again. The CEO is confident they'll reopen again, even if it's with a smaller budget.

This bit I'm about to say is pretty much off the top of my head; the pizzeria in FNaF2 looks much better than the one in FNaF1. There are more party rooms in FNaF2. The building is overall bigger, and has more security cameras. On top of it all, the place in FNaF2 has much nicer animatronics. In FNaF1, they had to reuse old, broken robots, and a dirtier building (according to the story, the place in FNaF1 had many health code violations). This shows that they simply did not have enough money to make a bigger and better Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.

Now look at the check. 20 dollars and ten cents. Date: 11-13-1987. Does the year 1987 ring any bells for you? The bite of '87, perhaps? Remember how I said that Foxy was constantly around the children in the room he was stationed in? Assuming that it was Foxy who bit the child, this is how the bite happened. FNaF2 takes place around the same time as Foxy's attack. It eventually led to the closing of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.

However, as we know, the old pizzeria was not gone forever. They kept the very first animatronics. The CEO wants to reopen. They "fixed up" the old robots, scrounged up the money they had left, and prepared, years later, for the grand reopening. This is how we get from FNaF2 to FNaF1.

(The original animatronics being older than we first believed allows the chance of another prequel.)

sequel where you're the robot stopping repairmen from getting in the room

some bigo theory

well if this is all true (which you actually explained and made believable compared to blueblur) there's going to be a three which takes place BEFORE two

eugh

How does a point and click horror game have a more detailed and a somewhat interesting story than some other horror games these days?

Well forget you too.

How does a point and click horror game have a more detailed and a somewhat interesting story than some other horror games these days?
Because it's not just any point-and-click horror game. It's a great point-and-click horror game.

How does a point and click horror game have a more detailed and a somewhat interesting story than some other horror games these days?
well, a lot of fnaf's great story is really just the community. Fnaf, as the game that it is, isn't giving you much lore, just a lot of tidbits that the community weaves together.

Ok, if this takes place in 1987, so should old Foxy be there because Foxy caused the bite of '87 by now? This prequel theory is making the game's lore a mess.
