i was invited to Beta Theta Pi's bbq this evening and i went and it was pretty cool, the people there were awesome.

Considering it but not making it a goal.  They seem alright tho.  Greek life is really not as big as many make it out to be.  It's like 15% of students at UMD.

So I just got two reverse 9-1-1 calls (home phone and cellphone), an email, and a text message from the police at my college.

Glad I don't move in till Friday..

if you don't want to pledge, i would at least recommend going out to their events and meeting them. i got a hook up at my orientation from kappa sigma to get me free wristbands at the local pub (basically saying i can go and drink even though im 18)

i hung out with sigma alpha epsilon most of the night last night and i got another hookup at a different bar that suits me better than the ones i visited at orientation
