What are you guys talking about? USPS is actually a pretty good service; probably one of the most reliable mail services in the world.

Why don't you like the USP-S? It's almost completely silent, and even though it has less ammo than the P2000, it still has all you'll need.

And yet, so far it's been dogging it with getting my package here. Everything else I've used was really fast by comparison.

the USPS isn't particularly fast. but I'm pretty sure they get things done one way or another

Um...FedEx after dark?

I was sitting on the computer earlier and I heard the doorbell ring. It was pitch black outside and nearly 8:30pm. My dad went and got a gun from his room just in case and looked out the peephole and saw nobody. He opened the door and there was a package from FedEx sitting there.

I would think they'd stop deliveries by 6:00 especially when daylight is fading earlier.

How can a book from the UK, a pocket watch from China and a necklace from Thailand all reach my house before a box of LEGO from the USA, even after they were all sent after the box of LEGO? What's worse is that the box of LEGO's postage was $67, more than the box of LEGO itself, and over 10x as much as I paid for postage of the other items...

This is beyond ridiculous. When China Post, one of the worst postage services in the world and the one that has damaged and lost the most of my packages, beats the US postal service, that says something.

EDIT: And since it's Friday today, it's a minimum of two days before I *might* see the package. OH WAIT, I have early mornings with assessments due next week, so I won't be able to accept delivery of the package and they'll force me to take the card, and then have to spend an hour at the busiest post office in my area.

USPS, go forget yourself.

Getting a knock on your door at 8:30 is so loving terrifying you need a gun?

Does your dead have a warrant/bounty/or hit on him or something?

No, but we live out in the meth capital of the USA out in the country and we've had prowlers on our property before and extreme tension against all the neighbors, so we aren't usually expecting Aunt Hilda asking for a cup of sugar while its dark out.

Based on every log since after 2011/2012, this means "Out for Delivery". So, looks like it's finally on the way here. Skipped college today, so I'll be here when it arrives.

USPS wont let me move my mailbox. It's current position fills up with water when it rains or when the sprinklers go on.
you could probably replace it with a better one
I don't have to worry about that kinda stuff bc my mailbox is indoors
Pfffffft
My mailbox is in my apartment complex :P

Oh, that sucks. I'm just in one building though so it's in the driveway. Still I've never had issues with it, since it's really high up.

well, it doesn't suck. I dunno why it would. it just means we can get the mail when we walk in

I like usps because it delivers on sunday

I ordered a package from Amazon on Friday that was delivered today by USPS. Zero problems.
