Meh, it's not worth debating and arguing with the religious types. But frankly, there are a lot of religious people that approach homoloveuality correctly. Such religious types approach religion as putting love forward first, which is what Jesus probably would have wanted. From the mouth of a Christian: homoloveuality is not more of a sin than any other, and Christians tend to exacerbate it.

Then I wear such a terrible label with pride. I'm not ashamed of standing up for what is right, and if I stand alone on it, so be it.

How is judging someone based on the gender of who they like "right"?

I know plenty of Christians, and Jewish people who actively support gay rights.

Are they "wrong"? Do you have any proof for this claim, if so? Because what you're thinking isn't "right".

Seriously, can we please get back on topic? An update from the OP would be interesting.

Yeah OP, did you touch his butt yet or what?

well, you always were homophobic.
I'm pretty sure family values is where you hate the living guts of a person FOR being gay. I don't think Planr hates people, he hates the sin. If you can't grasp the concept of Sin then its easy to assume all Christians hate gay people and are therefore "homophobic".

Most Christians see Sin as its own concept. Kind of a rust that other humans have fallen victim to.

Now through a scientific lens you can definitely see its a genetic trait. Christianity on the other hand doesn't see it quite that way and sees it as a "choice" as which is common among them.

Planr truly believes that, but it doesn't mean he hates the person. SO homophobic is not the correct term. More so Homoignorant. Understanding both sides of the coin is important.

More so Homoignorant.
Quote from: Urban Dictionary
homoignorant
1.) One who is unaware of what it really means to be of a loveual orientation other than heteroloveual.*

2.) One who does not understand LGBTQIA etc. history and/or culture.*

3.) One who holds one or more misconceptions about LGBTQIA etc. people.*

*This person may come off as homophobic by accident, but is not necessarily homophobic in actuality.
Sally seems homophobic, but she's really just homoignorant. She doesn't hate or dislike gay people, she just hasn't ever gotten to know someone who's gay, so she doesn't know that her words come out offensively.
Holy stuff, this is actually a word people use.

I was raised Catholic; and I was under the impression that sin was more along the lines of humans smearing mud all over their body and God is saying, "Dude, what the forget? Stop that!"

Then I wear such a terrible label with pride. I'm not ashamed of standing up for what is right, and if I stand alone on it, so be it. I'll walk with God until the day I die.
Gods not real!!!!!
GODS NOT REAL!!!

but then you'll stop??

Well no, because he can't exactly not follow God or sin if he's dead.

Gods not real!!!!!
GODS NOT REAL!!!
he has his beliefs, and you have yours

im surprised it took this long to turn into a religious debate

ok no. if he believes that being gay is morally wrong and is willing to tell people (especially people who are gay) that they are doing something that is morally wrong, just by being gay, then yes, he is a family man. he said homoloveuality was evil. having people added as friends on steam who happen to be gay doesn't excuse any of that

Except he doesn't see being gay as a state of being. He sees it as a sickness. family man implies that he hates the person. He sees it as Sin which is its own entity

you aren't making it seem any better you know
