maybe you should just start with "how do you feel about gay people" so you don't need to follow it up if it goes south
what if it goes west

Am I the only one who isn't gonna try to crucify (hehe punny) Planr for having his own beliefs? I mean seriously, its like you people sometimes forget that your opinions and beliefs aren't the majority all the time.

No. I haven't said anything; and I kind of blew up on Judge... I think Planr is wrong, but I have already made my case.

Planr, I just want to ask: Do you think homoloveuality itself is sinful or is acting on it the sinful part? I can understand the latter, but I can't understand that thinking of someone as attractive as being sinful.

Planr seems to always bring in this Christianity/gay-is-sin stuff every time it's mentioned on the forums. I don't care if he thinks it's "omg so bad 4 us". It just really gets annoying every time he has to bring it up.

That doesn't mean that spreading his beliefs won't result in consequences, especially on a public forum. Badspot has mentioned this one in a thread when a person mad a drama about how people hung up pride flags where he was. Then he started bashing if for how disgusting it was or whatever.

You can find someone of the same love attractive without being homoloveual. I am pretty sure you didn't mean it like I am understanding it though. Can you clarify?

This. So much this.

As in desiring this person.
Like in my case, I would admire the curve of his bicep, the way his chest fills out his shirt, or even how cute his butt is. I'm not undressing him per se, but it is beyond appreciating his dedication to his looks.

Okay, I figured as much. Thanks.

that might be just narcissistic identification, where you value those attributes in yourself, so you sorta vicariously enjoy them in others

Doorman comfirmed for gay!

I'm gay, so definitely not narcissism. Besides, I hate my body.

I think it's impossible to treat homoloveuality as a sin without being a family man.

Not homophobic Christians ignore this part of the bible, as they have done with the passages about polyester, shellfish, and beating your slaves.
This leaves two groups of Christians left (both homophobic):
People who were raised to believe that homoloveuality is wrong
People who hadn't really been taught about it as children, but believe it is sinful anyways

Group 1 was raised to believe homoloveuality is wrong. I have no doubt in my mind that they themselves judge "sinners"
Group 2 didn't really have it drilled into their head, but they believe it's sinful anyways. Unless they follow every other rule in the bible, the fact that they choose to keep believing in this part means they already have prejudices about homoloveuals (not taught but made by themselves), which they rationalize with their belief system.
