Apple should have used an alloy (like steel) because theyre harder.
Yah, but Apple wants to make it as light as possible. Steal is quite a bit heavier than aluminum.
Not that I agree with their design choices, but steel would be noticeably heavier.
You know you've made the phone too thin when the camera lens doesn't have enough room inside the phone and has to stick out.
