After about a week, Rauchtaue Bao scummed to his wounds and passed in the night. The council of Tei were responsible in appointing the next Bao as Rauchtaue Bao hadn't enough time to declare his Disciple. After hours of deliberation they settled on a Navaro by the name of Quin Tei'Kai.

Upon his being chosen, Quin Bao wept for he knew that he would have to make the most terrible choice in order to spare the lives of his people. This war between brother nations has brought great shame to the land as the blood of innocents fill the street as they are caught in the cross fire. While it is true the Kim family had helped in their time of need, the necessity of the nation to reunite was obvious in the fervor of which the sides fought for control.

The only thing that would keep the Ru'sh Naal forces from completely destroying Wereu in retaliation would be the dissolution of this difference in identity between the people. They have long shared a common history with only recent events separating their populai. Many of them still held the same faiths cultures and traditions.

There would have to be peace in the land of Ru, or all would surely perish, for there was no clear side of wrong, only the side of the people whom the Bao is supposed to care for.

As such Quin Bao orders the Arm of Bao to stand down at Daijoua, for any purposes other than the protection of the citizenry, and a messenger with the Bao's decree is sent to the city.

Yes, I just prefer to pause for dramatic effect.

Atenisia begins to send out missionaries to far away lands (whoever we can extend to) in order to spread the true religion and to please the Pope.

Atenisia begins to send out military officers and trainers to other HN members/other lands in order to soak up as much military observation and tactics as possible to aid in the training of the military.

The Atenisian Navy lands on the shores of the island between the Espovonian island stretch and the Albitonic island (the largest one unclaimed).
It claims it and says no touchy; it attempts to peacefully vassalize/protectorate any natives of the island.

Galaumia recommends to the rest of the Islamic Empire that we join the Orient Trading Alliance. It would improve our economies and allow a surplus of well-made goods, making our citizens happier.

The Wereu forces surrounding Daijoua are unable to enter the city despite daily enslaughts and barrages, always being bested by the highly trained Arm of Bao whom drive them back by dusk every day.

One morning as the soldiers were getting into formation for their daily attack, Gungxi approaches the generals and asks him to hold his men back for the day, that he might win them the war. The generals were perplexed yet let the monk pass through armed only with a traditional Rustuffe curved sword.

Gungxi approached the city gates and was met by a dozen members of the Arm of Bao, they demanded he turn back lest he be slain. The monk responded that he was not here to do any harm to the citizens of the nation, and only saught to end the war.

The generals watched in surprise as Gungxi was invited into the city and escorted all the way up the palace gates where he requested a meeting with Honorable President Guanzun Kim Kai.
The monk and the president met on top of the balcony at the front of the palace, in view of the entire city, and beyond the city walls to the Wereuan forces awaiting the outcome.

Gungxi called for the unification of the lands and the end of the Kim reign, which the president said he could not offer.
"They(Ru'sh Naal) chose to leave the Wereu for precisely the reason displayed these last long years. This constant need for violence and conquest would not lead their empire to glory, only the dedication of every citizen to it's peace."
"The stagnation of the empire in recent years has been due to its division, and the diversity was what this nation once thrived on and brought it great success" responded the monk.

The monk then called for a duel between them that fate should determine who would rightly rule this nation.
The president called for his favorite spear and the monk waited while it was fetched before he drew his blade.

A visiting Ezbatan citizen reports the events of the north back to Ezbatu.

A storm began to blow in as the men exchanged blows, dodging and parrying every strike with precision and coordination, their battle illuminated by the lightning of the clouds above.

After nearly an hour of fighting with both men displaying the greatest of finesse and strength, the monk slipped and lost his sword. The president whom would not take this sign of betrayal so lightly would not spare the monk and as Gungxi fled onto the roof of the palace, Guanzun persuited him relentlessly. Cornering him at the edge of the roof, the president raised his spear to deliver a final blow but was caught by the wrath of the storm in a great beam of light that scorched him and left the clay roof tiles smoldering as if they were wood.

Gungxi lowered himself off the roof and was met by his generals that were allowed into the city following the resolution of the battle. They heraleded Gungxi as their champion and as promised appointed him ruler over the united lands of the Rustuffe peninsula.

Taijoau

And so the rule of Gungxi would come with the promises he held in his rebellion. He told of the end of the Baoist rule and hypocrisy that had divided his land, and how the years of loafing about with not a care for their supreme destiny as a glorious people would cease.

Immediately upon being given command he restructured the entire government, appointing regional rulers from all parts of the Ru coast to his court of consults, where he would lay down the final law in his supreme wisdom, he may ask for assistance by those whom know their own lands. As volunteers for the program were scarce (given any whom speak against this new ruler are swiftly dealt with by the loyal guard) a random lottery of representatives per region is instituted.

Seizure of Baoist religous assets are had for the purposes of state use that the gold may be redistributed as payments for real work as opposed to philisophical shenanigans and mockery.

Gungxi as well declares himself lord Buddha over the lands that his wisdom has surely shown he must be none other than the reincarnation of such an exemplary figure to lead these people out of their state of decay.

Gungixao offers asylum for the exiled government.

Ezbátu extends the invitation of OTA to the new regime of Taijoau.

The following states accept membership in the OTA so far: Ashibia, Xianxan, Galaumia, Irajinad, Sjinai, Haman, Gungixao.

Quin Bao along with several cloaked men are seen boarding a ship for Gungixao. The men are stopped but Quin states that his assistance of the current King is the only reason the men stopping them have the authority to do so.

The ship departs and the title of Bao is reappointed by the council of Tei to Neishah, a devoted Baoist and Wereuan General whom was promised the position by Gungxi after hearing of the Bao's departure south.

Taijoau accepts the invitation only on the provision that the oppertunity be extended to their northern neighbors Orshkal and Ashkaiyla which had proven vital in the establishment of this grand nation.

In addition the government sends diplomats to Teijina to discuss the immediate reabsorbstion of the state in order to reappropriate their ports for the purposes of improving trade to the region. Taijoau would also like to remind Teijina that as it stands, Taijoau is currently their only military protector, and Teijina had already shown their colors in deserting the Rustuffes not so long ago, thus there will be very little leniency in the reception of their decision.

Also, because this doesn't exist...
Calzone
General Information: A loose coalition of factions controls things from the capitol.  Factions are divided along religious and other lines and sometimes fight among themselves.
Government Type: Confederation
Capitol City: Dabo
Model Culture: Dutch
Population: 1,312,649
Languages: Dutch, German, English
Military Information: There is no national military.  Dreibetungist factions maintain Avalonian-like cavalry forces, and Cassian factions tend to maintain infantry akin to that of Albiton.

Avalonia seems to have dropped like a stone on the techno-meter.  Universities in the capitols of the New Union's new provinces with similar curriculum to those in the other provincial capitols, and work goes into repairing, upgrading, and increasing the efficiency of the existing universities.

Development of a method for delivering the hitherto secret substance reaches completion.

Tejina reluctantly accepts these terms, although prior to the delivery of the acceptance, thousands flee to the South (mostly Gungixao and Ezbatu) with their families and fortunes.

Siderland is displeased that it has not been invited to the new trading sphere, and increases trade with non-OTA nations.

Galaumia puts in a IMTR of 4.5%. They provide Stone, Spices, Horses, and Architects (Service).

Gungxi declares Taijoau's IMTR at 10% but provides a wide variety of food resources including the salty yet satisfying Soy, Ginger which is promoted by Kai to help when feeling nauseous, and the increasingly popular Tea, which is garunteed to be the grown on only the best state run farms using the most up to date farming techniques.

Also invested are state resources of the finest Silks and Silvers and several specimen of stones including Turqouise and Lapis Lazuli as well as the renowned Rustuffe Lumber

Gungxi outlaws the yearly Fesitval of Bao, declaring it a vulgar and detestable display of hedonism.

In order to adjust to the temper of the populace however, they are granted two festivals in the spirit of Buddhism and one dedicated to the glory of the nation itself.

The current Bao, Neishah, was surprisingly seen at one such festival regularly schedualed as a Festival of Bao day. The people insistently asked him to provide the yearly speech to which he became angry and demanded the Arm of Bao to eject all citizens from the ceremony that should bother him.

While previously children would get to choose admittance to a Kai university upon recieving their state evaluations, Gungxi declared mandated attendance of all students deemed intelligent enough to be of aid in the sciences, regardless of their predisposition to the studious lifestyle.

A group of workers and settlers are chosen by the state and marched to the forests north of the eastern lake by Teijina/Titchwahk, that the woods be harvested for trading to neighboring nations and the fertile land once clear made into further farms.

These workers are escorted by the military whom are told to remove the indigenous tribes by whatever means they deem necessary to keep safe the interests of the nation.

Gungxi mandates the seizing of all state coinage containing the image of any Bao (which is all of them) and the precious stones removed and silver smelted down for use in trading. In return for the coins the citizens are granted state seals inspired by their Ezbatuan bretheren, which have a supposed value of return for by the state, however any such redemption efforts are insistently obscure and futile.
