Oh, okay, I gotcha.

Ezbatan citizens begin traveling to Atlantia, as well as representatives of Ezbátu.

The Ezbatan military organizes in Varakia and Northern Belania and Tsekenaum, with the navy sending out patrols to the north of the unclaimed land, though just outside of view from the shore.  Taijoau and the other OTA members with naval and sea trade presence in the area are notified that Ezbátu seeks to honor its OTA agreement, and is simply expanding into the unclaimed land to its natural north.  It also advises that trade routes be diverted around this area for the next few years.

oh yeah what even happened to atlantia since atenisia magically dissapeared (they were funding some of the operations).

Also, NSI is being replaced by the Powerhouse Rankings, in case anyone hasn't noticed.  It will just include the top 3, and will include NPCs.

neat

-large nation update sometime this week for me-

oh yeah what even happened to atlantia since atenisia magically dissapeared (they were funding some of the operations).
It became their brown townogous "atlantis"

Espov traders arrive in Asar they offer a multitude of goods from blades to spices

trade is escorted with military ships bearing white flags due to the current battle going on with zuruk

Espovon begins to create pike weapons

A standing army of 25,000 is introduced, they distinctively wear dark red cravats.
« Last Edit: January 19, 2015, 07:55:37 PM by Badger »

Asar is excited about trade with Espovon, and accepts the trade for spices, but claims that it is set as far as blades go.  It desires stone for building, and wood for shipbuilding, if it may trade a negotiated amount of silver and gold in exchange for these.

Ezbatu begins to charge northward and eastward with its land armies, attempting to undercut any enemy supply lines.  Ezbatan cavalry charges forward as the vanguard and seeks to cause damage to small, unfortified towns by either pulling down buildings with chains, or by throwing clay pots filled with oil and Åkēle, with lit fuses attached.  These create great fires in seconds, and they cannot be extinguished by water, and rather cause explosions when water is thrown into early stages of the fire.

While all this trouble is created, the enemy forces are forced into being scattered to take on the threat, which attacks seemingly at random from random places.

The navy approaches the shore and attempts to both blockade any trade routes by sea and to land any large forces outside of fortified cities.

Outside of fortified cities, land forces begin to dispatch siege machines.

The traders notify they will send word back and promptly return in time with said materials.

farmers begin to capitalize in cold cellars to store their milk from cows, which in turn seems to hold over longer until transported.

Agriculture heads begin to consider planting forests to provide a more ample wood supply for the coming years.

I am confused as to who Ezbatu is attack.

The three liberal nordic nations already were allied...
Romicia was defeated but not completely absorbed or anything.  It just lost everything West of the lakes.  It is a dump right now though.
Asar was already cozying up with Zurukland rather than just invading but whatever.
Also, I don't see a poll on the website.  I miss something?
Is Olis still its own nation or is it all the Olisian Republic now?

Gungxi's bodyguards and cupbearer become involved in a court intrigue involving the planned assassination of Gungxi.  The conspirators are betrayed from within and Gungxi learns of it.

The New Union begins to fit a small fleet of ships with dispensers for the substance described earlier on.

The distemper of the liberal Nordic states is understood but largely ignored, as they are not considered especially powerful or economically important (the New Union trades moreso along the coasts of the Utesian Ocean than in the smaller seas) and the new Union had no major plans involving them anyhow.

The New Union's army takes the small stretch of land between Plexia and Graniaton without much resistance from locals who have ultimately been pretty heavily influenced by the New Union for a while now.  The land falls under the jurisdiction of Plexia and Graniaton according to proximity and along existing tribal borders.  Excepting Turtle Island, one can now travel by land from one end of the New Union to the other.

Several ex-Rustuffe personnel request a meeting with the leaders of Gungixao to discuss the intervention of the situations in the Ru Gulf by the Oriental Crowns. They propose joining with already disgruntled forces from many sides (including a large portion of Wereuans whom are upset with them putting in power a king so against their beliefs) within the kingdom on usurping the current mad king. In return, there could be a pact arranged where the resultant country would pledge allegiance to the Crowns and aid them to the best of their ability.

Rustuffe Naval forces surround the Nuwatha Islands (the two still un-updated islands I had been calling them Nuwatha since when I had Mahowaeae but when I dropped them I meant for them to be unanimous as well, its ok cause they are so small it would make sense they didnt make much of a blip citystate wise anyways off the coast of the Wereu Province) and envoys land on shore demanding the islands return to their founding nation (Taijoua, being the current embodyment thereof) and allow the use of the islands for naval services including the conduction of trade along the region and the defense of the waters by pirates.

Woops, my bad.  I missed that, but I suppose it's not important now.
Romicia was defeated but not completely absorbed or anything.  It just lost everything West of the lakes.  It is a dump right now though.
That was my impression anyways.  Were there any surrender terms announced.
Asar was already cozying up with Zurukland rather than just invading but whatever.
Oh, well since Asar was an aggressive an unpredictable nation to start, and it had close allies to the east, its attack to its western corridor seemed more likely.  Sorry about that.
Also, I don't see a poll on the website.  I miss something?
It's on the homepage.  Scroll down a bit and you should see it.  If not, you may be missing some plugins or something, idk.
Is Olis still its own nation or is it all the Olisian Republic now?
Olis is now what the Olisian Republic was.  The Olisian Republic, with the help of Olisian rebels, retook Olis from the oppressive regime, and are now named Olis, since it was deemed better not to alienate their brethren.

Thanks so much.  I'll get crackin' at any edits needed.

Well they did this because...

Excepting Turtle Island, one can now travel by land from one end of the New Union to the other.
...stuff like this.  Avalonia is moving its influence eastward.

Gungixao asks how they might be able to do this, seeing that Taijoau is a fellow OTA member.  Even if Gungixao manages to fend off any blatantly Taijan navy vessels, the king would be sure to abuse the OTA agreement and weaponize merchant vessels, which could cause other OTA members to intervene.

The natives state that they are unwilling to leave their homes, especially to move to such a place in turmoil.

There are already several Wereuan Generals, many of which are the same whom had put the current leader in power, that have become disgruntled given his current policies, it is projected that at least one third of the military forces would be able to be utilized against the state.

The state has currently not shown much interest in appeasing OTA policy including setting unreasonably high tax rates.

The natives state that they are unwilling to leave their homes, especially to move to such a place in turmoil.
Their relocation would not be necessary, just their assurance of not interfering with state services. As part of the nation they would receive benefits such as medical assistance and protection from piracy.

In response to recent attempts on his life, Gungxi relocated the capitol to Roussa, the city in the Navaro Province (in the center the norther/central circular bit which I keep referring too but I think was overlooked in map updates edit: a better approximation of its location is directly due south of the the most southeastern Ashkylian city lined up with the bit that bumps out into the missing section of mountain territory to the west of that if that makes it any more clear). Due to it's proximity to the Navaro Kai university which has historically proven unseigable, that he may retreat to the academy for safety in times of need.

And a minor note, The Mawahe bit doesnt mention they use fire wherein my nations history they are the whole reason I got fire shenanigans so early, and I know it was mentioned back when Wereu was still present so I just wanna put it out there thanks

Atenisia begins to conquer the western lands while also merrily dashing around missionaries that speak of faith and true love (or hell!!!).
