Author Topic: Masculinist/Feminist Megathread- COEXISTENCE IS ABOVE ALL  (Read 7191 times)

not trying to cause an argument but imagine if http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6g6g2mvItp4 had the opposite gender roles, feminists would be PISSED.

Social justice warrior movement:
One of the most backwards movements if I ever seen one. Basically the movement encourages people to embrace their problems and turn them into some sort of enabler to blame and hate straight white males rather than fix or improve their problems.

Basically if I have the power to do something, I cannot do something for that would make an evil ableist. Help a crippled person across the road? Evil ableist. Was born with the ability to think and walk with two legs? Evil ableist. Have the ability to cure cancer? Evil ableist.

Born a white male? Evil. Mixed race? Still evil for having a white ancestor. White man says forget the jews? tribal. Black man says forget Asian people? Not tribal because he is colored. White people colonized Africa? Evil. Africans selling fellow Africans to white people? Omitted. Doctor says I need to loose weight or I will die? Thin privilege.

Whoa gj setro you actually made a successful thread

Why, instead of making only the girls wear dresses/skirts, make everyone wear dresses/skirts?

It'll be just like ta home in ta 'eyelands, laddie.

Honestly I wouldn't mind wearing a kilt to school.

Only way I can see it going wrong is if someone was a true scotsman and wore nothing underneath.
"Scotland is not a real country! you are a Englishman in a dress!"

As a prime example of ignorance and intolerance?

Wow I mean I always knew the internet had alot of uneducated opinions but I never knew they permeated so deep into these forums.

The SJW/Tumbler feminists movement is nothing more than a hate a group disguised as a great social movement.

Hate people, then act like a victimized martyr.

Racism is human problem, not something caused by evil white males. I will fight to bring ugly truth to the world.

I honestly feel like some people just pull the Feminism card so that they wont get in trouble for stuff and try to get the other person in trouble

Like for example, the thing originally in the OP, they're trying to blame the school board for the fact they dress like loving sluts.

lol

Egalitarianism is the way to go. Masculism and feminism alone are lame.

Ok well let me first state I do not know what the actual *"Social Justice Warrior" movement* is or who is officially affiliated with it nor do I go on tumblr, that is my own form of ignorance, though more due to my overall disconnect from social media in general, one which I am actively trying to correct as society makes it very difficult to be a part of without a twitter.

More on point, I agree, racism is caused by everyone, but racism isn't the only problem, the overall generalization of another group of people is the problem. I haven't heard any of my feminist friends ever state that men are the only problem. The loveist and tribal structures are unfortunately currently built into society through the very concept of a "social norm" which completely disregards the wide variety of even sub-cultural experience each of us have.
While there are extremists in the party who do have radical opinions, they are called "extreme" for a reason, being on the outlying fringe of a group, they are potentially as detatched from the main views of the umbrella of their social categorization than the whole body of opinions would have.

That said, it is still important to discuss the numerous inequalities still present in society, and they should not be shrugged off as "no big deal" or "someone else's problem". If you are able to identify that a problem is inherent to society, the only way to change society is to act as a member of society, and express your observations, such that even if you are not endowed with the faculties to make such changes, you may reach out to some persons who might.

*Edit*
Ok So like I thought its just a term for referring to individuals with opinions one views as more radical than theirs and a prime example of what i cannot think of for the term but ill just call "otherism" for now. The idea seems to be alot of these people are uninformed and unusually uppity which seeing some of the demonstrative posts of these "sjw"s they appear more like either equally misinformed people, in which case they should be treated the same by the true equality seekers as those who are completely oblivious or negligent towards the social issues, or members of the extremist outlyer group. Unfortunately the presence of such a concept allows too easily those who do not desire change to lump any form of liberalism into radicalism, especially when that is the most noisy portion of a group.

I don't want to be "that guy," but I just feel like I have to say, I HATE how the Tumbler/SJW movement is infiltrating my school. We have a new "equality club" that's basically the SJW club at my school, I had to interview them for our newspaper and they were the most inarticulate bunch of circle jerking little stuffs I've ever seen. They actually told me to check my privilege. I made sure we didn't publish the article to deny them publicity. I don't even know how that club got approved, it's basically a hate group that hates everyone that isn't a morbidly obese/anorexic feminist female SJW. And the one fat guy who thinks he's getting ladies

Edit: he wears a fedora and bowler hat too

he also wears a pink bow in his hair and smells like 2 week old chicken

wow really?
This is the exact opposite approach to have when dealing with another group of people.
When a group of people stand up for equality and you stifle them, the next group to stand up will only consist of those bold enough to do so after the first batch was turned down. This continues until you have only the loudest people shouting, and often those who shout the loudest don't entirely agree with the rest of the group.

If they are actually actively like tearing up public property and being a nusiance around school in the name of equality then that is bad yes, but let them have their club. Furthermore
... I HATE how the Tumbler/SJW movement is infiltrating my school. We have a new "equality club" ..., I had to interview them for our newspaper ...I made sure we didn't publish the article to deny them publicity.

The problem with journalism is you purportedly hold the view and respect the opinions of others equally in order to present unbiased news, unless it is not in accordance to your interests.
This abuse of power is so disturbing that I have half a mind to find out your school paper and inform them of your discrimination.
