Author Topic: I'm proud of my grades so far...  (Read 2933 times)

My English teacher, today, asked me if I wanted to switch to accelerated. She said, do you want an easy A or go to accelerated... I mean, I want to go, but it's already the second month. If I change now it'll affect my schedule and my grades in other classes. So, I don't really know what to do now, help :s...

Keep in mind OP is the same guy who made that "Mrs. flora" book thing.

I got an A+ on that FYI and it's supposed to be a children's book.

What grade are you in?

You're proud of an F..?

I'm not proud of my Math F grade, but it'll be better hopefully. I'm kind of thrown off from the changes, but I'm getting it but more I guess.

A huge grin just spread across my face.

im going to guess 6th-8th grade, and im gonna say you don't need to really worry. grades then are essentially meaningless

Grades in 8th grade matter, they use them to determine which classes to put you in in high school.

if you get f's and D's in 8th grade, and apply yourself in 10th grade, you're gonna be at the same level as someone who cruised through it all. you'll have a tougher time, but it's still true.

im not advocating to fail- but don't stress yourself out now, because i can assure you it only gets more stressful, lol.

In my school district they decide which high school you go to by your grades/performance on entrance tests in 7th grade. So those grades are important

Looking to get a 4.0 for the 5th semester in a row.

I'm happy to say that my grades got a tad bit better, though in some classes they've gone down by 3% due to failed group projects lol. They'll go up a lot though, trust me. I'll post a picture tomorrow so you can compare and contrast.

Yeah. I'd argue that being "naturally gifted" is worse because you don't develop study habits and will crash and burn when you actually need to study
>studying ever

oh wait this thread's old as stuff what the heck

compare and contrast

and no I'm not in middle school
