i haven't even actually played any legend of zelda game before, even though i own ocarina of time for n64.

i haven't even actually played any legend of zelda game before, even though i own ocarina of time for n64.

that game is quite good. i'm a pretty heavy zelda fan and i don't think it's the best zelda game though (before i get my house burned down, i don't feel like there is any top notch #1 zelda. i can't pick a favorite zelda because it's like picking a favorite child.). i feel like its level of storytelling was surpassed by skyward sword. furthermore ocarina controls like a donkey with a broken spine compared to most other zeldas, although there's no zelda game with 100% tight controls. the reason it is so beloved is that it was super impressive for n64 days. i think that the wii u for zelda will hopefully be the one that for certain knocks ocarina off its pedestal in every respect.
