You don't have to respond to everyone in an argument, especially if people who hop in the debate come with incredibly ignorant statements.

Just because people want to post the same argument that someone else did doesn't mean I'm obligated to entertain their opinion. I don't "lose" a trivial internet argument because I can't be bothered to maintain an argument with 5 people at once.

oh and about that last bit, the tree's not "targeted by people [they] didn't like".  it hasn't smothered anyone, isn't white-skinned and it looks pretty decent.
