hmm, what.

I'm pretty sure nobody wants their CV to sound like this:

I do not know why you thought it sounded like that.

Hey Teneksi, do you change your Profile Picture to what you're working on?

What was that police car sound that nobody wants to hear on the CV?

Is there an update going to occur for the Crown Victoria 2016? There are some big bugs, usually resulting in the vehicle having no tires and unpack update errors. Somebody might have posted this issue already but, I feel like I'm the only one getting these bugs?

nobody has told me about this before

I saw it once, after trying to duplicate the car many times.

I do not know how to prevent it or why it only happens sometimes

This new version of the Crown Vic was developed in free time throughout the last semester. Basically, all of my development went to new, experimental features, adding on top of each one without looking back. I fear I may have overcomplicated things rather severely.

After one or two unique releases, I will probably return to the Vic, and make a more stable version of it. For starters, no insane lists of nodes and a much simpler onAdd process (the bizarre amount of stuff it now has to do in onAdd is probably what's causing your errors). The PI and LX versions have a few different parts, but they share the same model; hiding all those nodes might be slowing things down. I also may have to include different police car liveries as separate datablocks, as there are so many nodes currently that the exporter seems to have random problems with them (particularly, nodes I didn't tamper with go missing or become distorted and there's no rhyme or reason to it)

The theme will be: more files and datablocks, but less overhead and glitchiness. No more lists of instructions so extensive that it forgets to put the wheels on.

And the ambulance glitches with the slayer.

for me this only happens when spawning lots of them -- that is, when blockland gets slowed down.

it appears to me that the only current solution is for your computer to be faster

please read my previous post

Oh, didn't see that edit. At least that clears things up.

And It's not my computer, it's only 4 vehicles - average between 90-120+ fps.

well I can't imagine why it would happen more often for you than anyone else

See if the console shows any errors.

Teneksi, I know you added in door sound effects, but could you make the doors open like in the normal IVS, where it's smooth animations, but also at the same time have door sounds?

Personally, I like the instant doors, so I probably won't make this change soon.

Vehicles can only have 4 animation threads. The Crown Vic uses 3 (with the intention of leaving 1 for emergency lights) because the front doors, back doors, and hood/trunk use shared animations. If these animations weren't instant, I would have to lock one door until the other finished animating.

In the future, I will probably follow Barnabas in having a bot for some doors, which effectively doubles the amount of animations possible.

For me, instant doors are better, they are more blockland styled, like the default door bricks.

I would absolutely agree with this.
