you know GMO farms can burn the crops of other farms that get contaminated by their GMO pollen iirc

also even though i dont care if my food is GMO. i still think we should get to choose between GMO or organic.

Most of the fruits and vegetables in the store aren't really organic to begin with since they have been treated with pesticides.

Lots of those pesticides are essentially the same ones expressed by GMO plants:

Yeah, but the issue isn't GMO crops, it's Monsanto

Organic farming is one of the biggest, widely bought into scams ever

The fact that an unethical, immoral corporation makes GMOs has no effect on how useful/safe they are.

Wow, it's almost like you two are arguing the same point but for some reason find the need to reiterate each others statements to each other!

Because the post that was responding to was countering what I said?

I've seen hippy type stores that have ultra liberal, hipster, stoner types running them as well as shopping there. Haven't bought anything from them, so I can't confirm or deny whether or not the food tastes good. I would imagine the food they sell is really expensive though.

It is pretty hard to not grow crops with pesticides because there are so many pests out there and deterring them can be a pain. Stuff like garlic can be used, but I've never used it.

It's like they both had their nerves struck.

No, I was just confused why Headcrab Zombie was reiterating his point, even though I agreed with him.

Good luck paying for enough garlic to spray a several acre field.

Too impractical make garlic spray for a large field anyway. Like I said, the people who truly care about organic food grow it on a small scale like small portion of a backyard/small green house. I would also imagine if garlic were too be used, it probably ruin the flavor as well.

Also, there's the question of what will we spray the garlic fields? What will we spray the garlic fields used to make the garlic for spraying? We'll need garlic fields for those garlic fields too. Soon, before we know it, 100% of the world's arable land is being used to grow garlic. It's garlic all the way down!

Which is then sprayed on to corn, which is then fed to a cow which is grinded into ground beef, which is put onto a bun which was probably made with some sort of corn substitute served with a drink in a plastic cup made from bio plastics which came from corn which was delivered in a truck that ran off ethanol which came from corn! Silage for the silage gods! Maize for maize throne.

I have a book I think you should read but you might have already read it.
