That's entirely unnecessary. This is all you need to do:

Unpack http://puu.sh/fkqN3/ad9739c470.zip into your Blockland folder

Then, to configure the effects:

Edit ReShade.fx to enable/disable/configure things however you want (it won't change anything unless you enable some things in it)

I was doing that to make it as step by step as possible. The exe is only for the inclusion of sweetfx. Otherwise they would only need to do what you have done. I will update my post with more clarity.

Didn't work. Configured effects, don't even see the white text like I do other games.

Didn't work either. No white text.

maybe your gpu doesn't support Opengl 4.3

(mine doesn't even support 4.0)

i think there is no way to get it working on a Opengl 4.2 or lower gpu

EDIT: my 8600 gt supports 65% of Opengl 4.3

Tutorial:
Download Files: Everything you need

  • Once you have the zip file, extract all of the individual files over to your main blockland directory. (Not the .exe)
(See below)

(This is all you need without sweetfx)

(For Inclusion of Sweetfx)
  • After you have copied over the files, run "ReShade Setup.exe."

  • You will need to select the Blockland launcher now.
  • The launcher is what you would normally click on to launch blockland.

  • We will need to get the file location in order to inject ReShade.

  • Go back to the ReShade.exe and in the open box it gives you, paste the file location in the top text field.

  • Now start the game! (You should see white text over the launcher, as well as an agreement prompt)

Blank Reshade File

Not sure if this odd bug was caused by this, but I tried changing shaders on Glass' fortwars a few days ago, and my screen went black with a few moving spots that would show what was actually happening in-game.  Haven't tried to replicate it nor did I get pictures but it was really freaking weird.  Re-starting blockland fixed it.

let me guess,i shove reshade.fx's into the shaders folder and all that other stuff and it works?
