Why wouldn't you put the newer software on it? Security, features, and better performance.
Build quality? Apple uses aluminum chassis versus the standard plastic that the majority of PC's use.
Life Cycle? Depends on build quality, how the software runs, and how you take care of it. All of which are factors.
I still don't see why idiots still debate it, why can't you just accept there is another OS out there? Deal with it. Not everyones needs fits the needs of teenage gamers.
