To pass on information, clearly. That's what the human's over-complicated system of giving themselves meaning boils down to. We're not even a blip on the radar in the grand scheme of things, we just know how to act like one.

Dang, there are alot of different meanings to different people.

Try to comprehend how large the universe is.
Now 100x what your most wild guess was, that's a bit closer.

There is absolutely no way we're the only intelligible life form.

Then its a good thing thats not what he said, its incredibly likely were the only surviving intelligent species. Any that survive far enough to get into space and from there probably interstellar travel (no matter how long it would take) would most likely send out bot like ships that would travel to another star, use the materials there to say, make two more of them whilst looking for life, then go off to another and repeat

Have you done the math? Figured out what % of planets are in the goldilocks zone? Multiplied it by the % of planets that will get a sufficient amount of water to support life in the long-term? And then multiplied that by the % of planets that will get the necessary amino acids and what not to form life? Hell, we don't even know for sure how life first formed on earth, so how can you ever be sure? The answer is you can't ever be sure.

galaxy =/= universe
Didn't notice he said galaxy.

You can't carry off the hundreds of billions of galaxies there are and say that even if we are the only intelligible life form in our galaxy, we are a big deal.

Standardizing evolutionism we can safely say that an extremely rare set of conditions must be met to form life as we know it. If you take into consideration the amount of possible conditions that exist, they will at least vaguely be met somewhere out there and form means of life that can sustain multi-cell organisms.

And... you know this how? Just because there are billions of galaxies out there does not necessarily mean that there will be other life, especially when you consider that we have literally no idea how rare it is for life to be able to form on a given planet. Literally nobody knows how rare it is, so you can never be sure. You can guess, and say "Well if the probability is x then there are possibly y planets with intelligent life" but we don't know what x is, that's the problem.

Actually no

This is just a secondary objective to help us fulfill our primary objective
I can't even
No human beings don't reproduce to fertilize the ground you dolt, we have a survival instinct for a reason. Humans, like every other animal on the planet, exsist to reproduce and propagate their own species. That's the goal of all life, even bacteria. It's fine if that's your own personaly philosphy, but dont claim that it has any kind of scientific relevance.
