"Evening," Jaakko replies, Thanks for taking care of the dogs. Haven't been around since I've been wounded. I got stuck at some base for a layover of sorts."

The dogs take interest in Jaakko, with Jalko sitting himself in front of Jaakko while Talko sniffs around the former.

The dogs take interest in Jaakko, with Jalko sitting himself in front of Jaakko while Talko sniffs around the former.
: Why were you wounded?

Jaakko is surprised that the bot takes interest.

"Shot down and got into a gun battle. I don't know how much more I can say about that from a security standpoint. Sorry. Have they given you much trouble?"

He pets Jalko while Talko sniffs the former.

He pets Jalko while Talko sniffs the former.
: Security personnel have not given me any trouble.

"The dogs-" he starts.

Jaakkos chest still burns with embarrassment.

"-Nevermind. Taylor took off on a bus," he states.

Jaakko looks at the scenery behind the bot.

"And I loving let her, like a loving handicap,"

He looks to the robot as if it had eyes.

"Could you do me a favor and make sure she comes back to base? She's drunk, and I don't know where she is. She may have a phone on her,"

Jaakko runs his hand up his face and through his hair, as if slicking it back.

"Just help me make sure she turns up, please? You have longer endurance than I do," he pleads.

: I am not permitted to leave the base. Nor do I know where to begin the search if I were.

Walter lumbers over to one of the chairs and slumps down into it

"Real good, the food itself was enough to make the trip."

Walt stretches backwards over the chair then goes back to sitting normally

"Tippy took off on a bus though, she's apparently going to return sometime later."

"We aren't leaving, and I doubt if I could. Just make sure she turns up back here. I'll help as much as I can, but really we just need to make sure she turns up back here,"

Jaakko rests his head against the arm that is resting on the crutch.

"I should have stuck with her, everyone looks at my like I'm a loving idiot, and rightly so," Jaakko grumbles.

He looks back up.

"She's family to you like she is to the rest of us right?" Jaakko asks.

"She's family to you like she is to the rest of us right?" Jaakko asks.
With no hesitation whatsoever, the bot gives its reply.
: No.

"Of course," Jaakko replies, feeling like an idiot for asking a robot if it had empathy.

He wonders if there is any incentive for the bot to carry out any of his wishes at all.

"She said she'd come back, just, if you see her, she's drunk, help her if she needs it, please?"

Jaakko continues kicking himself while the dogs snarl and start wrestling.

: Okay.

It turns away from you to focus on the dogs for a few seconds, then turns back to face you.
: Major Kirves?

"Yes?" Jaakko replies.

"Yes?"
: I've been thinking. Do you believe it is possible for any sapient being to be truly objective in their judgement?

Jaakko is shocked that the Helian construct is capable of asking such a heavyweight question.

"That's- a heavy line of questioning there," Jaakko replies.

He is intrigued by the fact that Helios produces bots to do menial labor that are capable of such intelligence.

He reflects on the question.

"At face value, I'm inclined to say yes- but I can't say for certain,"

He looks to the dogs.

"You know, maybe not, because any experience that person would have would probably ruin an entirely objective line of thought,"
