I lock on to Paladius and fire off the rest of my RGMs, keeping him in the lock circle, hoping they'll miss. I feel bad for him, he sounds really young.

This does. You only hear him cry out a single word before either ejecting or being engulfed in his plane's explosion. It's too dark and him too far away for you to know for sure what happened.

Aesthians don't have a blood god you khornate dipstuffs. They do have a god of war, but he's of the "good at tactics and honorable combat" sort, and would never tell anyone to say "slaughter them all".
After Guerra's little destabilizing event, Aesthian brass are going to be on the lookout for continued mention of this cult. People found to be worshipping this false diety may find themselves having an unhappy little accident that shortens their lifespans by forever.
