Gus continues to climb. "forget," he mutters to himself. "I've got two additional contacts, both stealth. One of them is bigger than the rest. I'm gonna get above them and see what I can do. Faw, I'm not too confident with a 1 on 4, think I could get some help?"
You get close enough to see two of the enemy contacts clearly on your HUD, and for them to notice you.

: [Damn it, they've got their own stealth planes! I knew this looked sketchy! Who sends up a measly two planes to escort a carrier anyway?]
Both planes turn your way, and your plane beeps that they have you locked on.
Faw flies by Walt and pops chaff to throw the reader lock off him.
The chaff drops the missile that was headed for Walt.
Bell deploys flares and makes a tight turn to directly face the drones, firing a seeker at five and attempting a snap-burst on four.
The missile cripples Drone 5, and 4 takes a good pounding from the gun. The drones streak past you and begin maneuvering to get on your tail.
"much obliged."
Walt pulls up to enter a loop.
The drones give chase, following you through the loop but holding their fire.

Jaakko scrambles to put on his G-suit and secure his helmet. He runs to the flight deck. Hundred mile-per-hour winds whip across the runway stretch on the main deck, it's a miracle that the deck crew aren't thrown to the back of the hanger deck, or sucked out the landing decks. Jaakko struggles to breathe against the winds, and secures his mask to stop the air from forcing its way down.
Massive shutter doors close over the opening to the flight deck, they open only when the decks are cleared and planes are being launched. This ensures that people don't get blown off the damn thing. Crewmen operating in the aft areas are required to wear harnesses that can hook to designated surfaces in the event of opening the rear doors for incoming planes or outgoing airdrops such as food, medical supplies, and tanks.
