I fly a bit deeper into enemy lines looking for a control craft. RWR still reports an AWACS radar band. At last, one comes up on the screen. I drop the aircraft down low and start snaking towards the signature.

I target a Eurofighter and let loose my AC5's then firing an HSM

The aircraft vibrates as I feel something hitting the fuselage behind me. I look back to find a bandit bearing down on me, and streaks of molten slag scarring my aircraft. The annunciator panel lights up, and Bitchin' Betty screams at me. My loving Widow!

"forget me, I've been hit! Sabre, defending!"

That's it! This stuffhead's gonna bite the dirt! I toggle the AoA limiter, roll upside down and pitch for a particularly tight Split-S to try and even-out the situation.

so did the other two aams i fired get dodged? :(

Bell engages the Eurofighter attacking Sabre from cannon range, opening up with both her pulse laser and autocannon, immediately climbing into a particularly large cloud at high speed to minimize the amount of time that they have to react.

And then, as soon as it appears, it drops off your radar again. One of the eurofighters breaks away from its formation and starts chasing you, announcing its' presence by sending a heatseeker after you.

The AC5s knock out the target's engine and starboard elevators, leaving it defenseless against the incoming HSM, which blows it out of the sky.

Actually being able to see the plane attacking him reveals that it is not in fact a Eurofighter, but an entirely different plane. The enemy pilot notice the beams and tracers streaking past (and striking) their plane and maneuvers accordingly; decelerating rapidly and pitching itself way beyond "normal" AoA limits to point itself towards the source of the incoming fire before kicking on the afterburners and launching itself into the clouds to chase whoever's attacking it.

You turn around just in time to see what the enemy plane is and that it's gunning straight for Kibble.

Enemy Aircraft:
1x Su-74
5x Eurofighter Typhoon

"I don't know if anyone on here can hear me but i need cover! I'm going in for another run on the ground units! Anybody!"

The music is still playing loudly and after a few minutes i decide to continue my ground assault. I let off 2 AGMs onto the enemy forces below and with luck will be ignored by the enemy fighters.

Bell uses her PAK FA's momentum and afterburners to do a near vertical climb and use the airbrakes thrust vectoring to flip the plane's orientation. She opens up on the Turkreb with both of her coaxial guns and dives down to level out.

id just like to say that this made very little sense

I wrote it on a phone, basically it's just stalling to evade

There's a flash and a white trail in my mirrors. I drop flares and jink to avoid the missile.

pugachev's cobra?

Flying up. Like straight up. I know what the cobra is since I've used it against the Rafales (it's not the same)

The flight path up to the flip would be sort of like a question mark

in that case, you wouldn't have stalled

The PAK FA would have had very little upward momentum when the flip was executed, it would be practically stalling if she didn't go into a dive or level out. I'm kind of doing this off the assumption that the Turkreb would be quite behind because it has to make up the difference  in speed from decelerating, while Bell was going out at the same angle she went in so that she would lose any speed she gained from a dive.

so then it IS a cobra
