I let off a set of flares to throw off Ulrichs heatseeker. The upward climb begins to evolve into a large circle as i start getting the butterflies from being practically upside down.

I'm coming in from my low dive forming the second half of the circle. Just overhead Tippy is going at high speed on a head on interception with me.

I gun the engine and fire a heatseeker at Eklund. I still need to close for gun range.

"Raiden, engage! Not one of you has fired ordnance. Help us out! Go mob the Turkrebs! Do something!"

Bell opens fire on Berezin's tail with a spread of LCP and autocannon fire, she climbs up and breaks away from chasing the Rafale in order to prevent the enemy from getting an adequate shot on the PAK-FA.

: All-right, stick close to me then. I am going after the Kintharians' leader.

I drop flares and chaff, and break hard right.

: [Telarius. Tag him.]
: [Yes sir.]

You feel a thump on your plane as the enemy TAG beacon attaches itself to your fuselage.
: [Dodge this, you brat.]

Hetzer launches another missile.

A PPC shot streaks past Tippy's underside as the enemy plane continues to chase her. It doesn't notice Whiskey.

Bell closes in fast on Telarius's plane and opens fire with a burst of combined AC5 + LCP fire, she then banks back towards Yui's aircraft after passing Telarius's plane.

I wince as a crackling shot is made across my plane. I gun it to cut the time in half. It's time.

I open an unencrypted comm:

: "Yippee ki-yay motherforgeter!"

I take the sharpest roll to the side possible and leave whats behind me wide open.

I see my assigned window and let all hell break loose. 1 HSM and one fully un-adulterated AC5

The missile follows you up and detonates behind your thrusters. Your HUD goes dark as electrical arcs spread out over your plane, knocking out every non-mechanical system. The problem posed by this lack of power is then compounded by the sudden complete and total loss of aerodynamic stability, and you begin tumbling out of the sky. Thankfully, you are still very high up.

Unfortunately, the incredibly brief window provided for you to open fire means your shots go wide.

You hit the pursuing plane square in the face and it dives away from you towards the ground. You can't help but feel that you could have fired another missile there.

: Someone's got me locked in, do any of you see where?
: I see them, Sabre and a Rafale, 4 o' clock high!

Coaxoch opens fire on Yamashiro with an MMS-12 salvo, and Berezin joins in with a pair of heatseekers.
: Well, stuff. Musashi, I need that scrambler now!
: I'm trying! It just won't- there it goes, finally!

The missiles are all sent spiraling out of control, but two of them clumsily corkscrew to their target anyway.
: Tch. Looks like someone's not confident in their flying skills!
