I fire off a heatseeker and an AAM at the launchers.

You damage the array, but it remains operational.

2 AAM, 8 AGM

You receive your munitions.
: Mjolnir flight, be advised, we are dry on resupplies.

Faw takes a bit of a gamble and fires four missiles at the carrier's damaged bottom wing.

You destroy the wing. The carrier continues to float. In place. Tethered to the city.

I head to awacs for resupply

You can almost hear Xiaomei's augmetic eye rolling over the comms as you turn away with your bombs still attached.
: Yamashiro. Tag the launchers.
: Yes ma'am.
: Garrack, if you've got a moment...
: Just chasing a cruise missile, be with you in a jiffy.

He shoots down the outgoing missile with a fusion ball and turns back to the fight. Unfortunately, he is unable to intercept the six torcreepes that follow suit.

As you arrive at the AWACS, you hear the bad news.
: Our apologies, we have run out of materials to fabricate more munitions.

I make another attack with 2 HSMs on the left side defenses

You knock out a LAMS.

I fire on the aerial torcreep tubes with my remaining ordnance.

Raiden's TAG beacon ensures that every missile hits its mark, and the torcreep tubes are all destroyed.
: Scratch that, Mjolnir took care of them.

The more sharp-eyed of you are able to see that the carrier has begun retracting or cutting some of the cables keeping it place and connecting it to the city's power grid.

I wanna say i feel the judgmentalism but since i forgot i even had the bombs thanks for the reminder.

I stop course and i roll around. Looks like AWACS can wait. I set my course straight for the carrier.

I get into close range with the carrier and maneuver in from behind. I fire upon it's engines with the UAC.

Nothing happens. The firefight is still going on, but I'm not getting killed. Not today.

The missiles are stopped by the point defense on the other side of the bridge.

"Hey, they're trying to retreat!" I say, as I notice the cables retracting.

: They can't be retreating, they know they can't escape.

You get nailed once or twice as you take out the last two LAMS turrets on the starboard half of the island.

Upon returning to the battle area, I slew the AGM seeker cursor over the carrier's bridge and ripple fire 4 missiles at it.

Only two of them reach their target.

I get into close range with the carrier and maneuver in from behind. I fire upon it's engines with the UAC.

Explosions tear into the engine turbines, one of them grinds to a halt and causes the entire vessel to begin listing.
: Would you mentalists hold your damn fire on the engines and bridge until it clears the city? Remember what happened last time an air cruiser was shot down over a population center? It's not going to escape, be patient.

The Brynhildr fires another salvo of five torcreepes at the carrier, which has ditched its mooring and is moving out towards the bay.
