Bell moves in to get VTOL-1 into gun range and opens up with both of the GAUs.

Under ordinary circumstances, the VTOL would be able to cleanly outmaneuver the sluggish Razorback, but being on its last legs it doesn't take much more than a few glancing blows to knock the enemy aircraft out of the sky.

I enter a loop to face the VTOL again while deploying 3 flares sequentially to break off the missiles

The VTOL follows you through the loop but has no gun to fire on you with. Almost all of the missiles take the bait, and the ones that don't are thrown off by the maneuvering.

I start orbiting around the VTOL, staying away but not letting it move.

You knock the VTOL out of the sky with a few well-placed shots.

And you blow it to pieces before it even hits the ground.

I flip forwards and start flying horizontally to get out of the way

Walt manages to avoid the barrage of shells his two squadmates have just thrown into the air.

I start orbiting around the VTOL, staying away but not letting it move.

You get to see this whole display of overwhelming force play out before your eyes.

All ground and air targets appear to be destroyed.


On an unrelated note, for anyone interested, xxxxkill and myself played a VASSAL match consisting of my 500 point porlaqi detachment against his 500 point Kintharian detachment. He won based on kill points. Hilarious moments of note are his stuff dice luck leading to completely preventable casualties on turn 1, and my blocking unit completely killing off one of my own squads who broke rank and tried to retreat.

it's pretty irrelevant. this motherforgeter(s???) gives commentary on what the squadron is doing. for some reason the same "alpha squadron leader" has two voice actors.
