Also, it's difficult to show it through numbers alone, but the captured fighters already have loadouts equipped.
This is what the Huits weren't able to run off with.

Gus prays to all the Gods he's ever heard of that the GTO graces this particular airbase with a PAK-FA.

well thats just silly

I think with  qweipers recent post it implies whoever grabs those aircraft get dibs on the respectable armaments included

First dibs, yes, but if nobody is using the planes then they'll have their gubs taken off. Though I'm not entirely sure why people are setting up loadouts already, without knowing what the next mission is going to be. MMSs are good for ARTEMIS-assisted saturation fire, dealing almost-guaranteed damage to frustratingly agile opponents, or landing a finishing blow on an enemy out of flares; but they're pretty dang heavy and aren't very effective against fortifications or particularly tough targets like air cruisers, naval vessels, or Defender tanks (at least, not until you get up to the MMS-20, which can certainly deal a devastating blow to any of those).

regardless, fixed armaments sheet to account for spare weapon systems. There is now 1 extra pulse laser, 2 extra beam lasers, and 1 extra MMS-12.

There the Sabre stood, basking in the spotty light of the damaged hangar, miraculously unscathed from the raid some time prior. Richard slowly began pacing around the aircraft. Though he never cared much for the Huits' sense of aesthetic, he had to admit that the Sabre's got something special going for it. Was it the tiered intakes? The enormous coaxial device poking out of the wing root? The view-restricting framed canopy that would look more at home on a spaceship? He couldn't tell.

Richard thought back to the Raven for a moment. The reverse-delta 4-engine interceptor had served him well, even though he'd only taken it on one sortie. It's a bit of a waste to switch after such little time, but there are things that Sabre has that this Sabre could very much use.

He takes a chance and requisitions the aircraft.

Walt heads to the requisition office after lamding in order to claim the Shiva he greedily spotted.

The Sabres and Shiva are now claimed. It does not go unnoticed that Mjolnir discovered the location of the requisitions office before the location of anything else.

I know that when I get back from a long flight interrupted by a potentially deadly ambush, the first thing on my mind isnt to ask where the bathroom is so I can pee, the mess hall so I can eat, or my quarters so I can relax. No, it's the requisition office.

: Oh it's your Shinden, now?

Gus peed right off the side of the carrier. It was carried down the deck directly onto the mask of a flight officer. He was not pleased.
