Jaakko is interrupted by a staff assistant of some kind who deliver's the CO's request for a debriefing. He apologizes to Tippy and runs off to the CO's office.

: Yes, I wanted to know how it went. I'm sure Majors Kibble and Geary will have their reports handed in within the day, but I'd like to hear from you in person.

"Shortly after arriving on station over the target convoy, we were alerted to approaching hostiles, including the Sky Marshal's Gunship. They observed us, I believe, then left. We decided to tail them, and they lead us to a Deltan battlegroup.

It is worth noting I suppose that the I.A. 87, or 47? It was the squadron headed by 'Coaxoch,' they escorted the Sky Marshal as well.

Our Lieutenant Ralph overheard, on unsecured channels, and translated for us an internal conflict amongst the Deltans. Ralph stated that they fleet admiral of the battlegroup was intent on the deployment of nuclear devices to 'stave off defeat' or something along those lines. I wouldn't doubt that the AWACS over watching us recorded all of the transmissions. -uh and telemetry.

Consensus among the squadron was to work alongside the Sky Marshal, and Coaxoch's indentured squadron to prevent the deployment of nuclear devices. We did this successfully. The devices were on air-launched cruise missiles handled by carrier-borne Rafales.

I got a good look at the Sky Marshal's aircraft. Colossal airframe, carriers a missile system similar to MMS systems that carries missiles in the numerical order of dozens. It has two LAMS pods, one on the belly closer to the nose, and one between the tail surfaces. The amount of fire the pods can intercept is staggering,"

Jaakko reads off for a bit longer before finally finishing his oral report.

Yui heads to the break room, and sit down in one of the chairs, and starts tracking the car around the room, then looks at Bell.
"...huh. That's new. How'd it go?"

Tippy walks in and observes the little car zipping around the room.

"I use to have one of those. I would load it up with firecrackers and drive it through my neighbors doggy door."

Gus finally arrives on the conclusion that it is entirely too much thinking for a simple Air Force pilot and he should just be happy he defended Mercanan shipping and his squad stopped a nuclear war. After a quick shower, he heads down to the gym, strolling through the doors and walking towards what is becoming his "usual" spot. He performs his usual ritual of observing the gym population while taping his hands up. Besides a couple regulars and one very pissed off looking engineer, the gym is conspicuously empty.

: I cannot imagine your neighbors would have appreciated that. Nor their dog, for that matter.

"It doesn't manuever well. It manuevers better than one would think an aircraft that size could, but it's nothing that the vast majority of aircraft couldn't keep up with,"

Tippy walks in and observes the little car zipping around the room.

The dogs appear in the room, likely investigating the noise. Jalko starts sniffing Tippy inquisitively, while Talko cranes his neck to sniff the floor. Talko presses his nose into the floor, huffs audibly, then looks up at the Raiden pilots, panting lightly.

He nods.

The dogs appear in the room, likely investigating the noise. Jalko starts sniffing Tippy inquisitively, while Talko cranes his neck to sniff the floor. Talko presses his nose into the floor, huffs audibly, then looks up at the Raiden pilots, panting lightly.

: Oh, hello there. Who let you out?

Musashi notices Talko's relaxed state and offers her hand out for him to sniff. Yamashiro, having heard what's going on, looks over from the couch where she and Yukamo are watching TV.
: Uh oh.
: Huh?
: Nothing, just keep watching the TV.
: Now that sounds like you're just trying to hide something from-
: Oh.

[Operator¹]

Bell drives the RC car back to where she is sitting and picks it up to put it back inside of the box.

[Mr. Hurricane]

He nods.
: Is there anything else I need to know about this?

"It unironically has four high-power coaxials despite the aircraft flying like a brick. There is nothing else that is new about the aircraft that I noticed,"

Jaakko looks around.

"May I request, that myself and any willing squadron members head in to town to- uh, ease the weight of the world off our shoulders?"


Talko sniffs Musashi and sits. Jalko bows in front of bell and begins sniffing the RC car box inquisitively, then tries to grab it.

Tippy gives Jalko some scritches behind the ears and huggles him
