If anyone's good at making controllers than logitech still takes the throne their controllers are simply amazing and easy to get a grip of. I've used many of their controllers and their still the best possible ones that there are out there but why does valve really have to make a controller? it has one of those weird trackballs, I've used many trackballs and they've worked well for me but a loving disc trackball won't get you anywhere it just doesn't work like that sonny Jim. I really like trackballs but having a flat disc instead of a ball would make me imagine it pissing many people off, imagine trying to play a game like unreal tournament 2004 with a disc-trackball to look around you would be slaughtered within seconds in that game while you're trying to move your hand over this little disc that just won't work. Look if valve really thinks that just by having a little disc doesn't mean its copying off of other game controller designs than whats the point who would bring in a court case about a game controller, you wouldn't see Peter L. Jensen to come out of his grave and throw a court case on Sony, microsoft, nintendo and who ever else just because they've stolen the Video game controller idea.
All you need on a controller is 2 brown townog sticks, d-pad, triggers and 4 buttons. Whats so hard about this? and if you want a track-ball then why not release it individually?
