scotia and jurech both create more settlements

A force of elite volunteer reconnaissance/shock infantry has been assembled, rivalling even the Kingsguard in skill. Known for their shrewd tactical ability, impressive infiltration skills and almost mythical knack for disappearing, they make up for their numerical shortcomings with extreme mobility and incredible combat prowess in all categories. They are known as the "Vrah", an ancient word derived from the native tongue of the mountains. The Tsar personally tasks them with securing the Katalan Valley, a fertile area between two tall peaks in the Ibier Range.

Additionally, two fortified towns are set up on the western and northwestern borders, along with another settlement in the southeast as the Kingsguard march ever further into both the mountains and the valleys in the north.

Internally, the primary walls of Kyer are finished and the village of Atar has grown sufficiently to receive proper fortifications. The two border settlements receive a military garrison and light fortifications begin being built.

Additionally, the industry of blacksmithing is expanded and improved upon as iron ore deposits grow.

Trees are chopped down to expand existing settlements. Borders spread.

Facing virtually zero opposition, the Kingsguard move to secure the entire Ibier Range.

Prosperity allows Kyrev to expand its job market and education system further.

Reaching the maximum edge of their range, Kingsguard units set up various encampments and four more settlements.

they rapidly swallow some of the range, and then less rapidly swallow some more... eventually coming to a hault due to exhaustion from the rough terrain and strained numbers

i'm officially introducing this as a thing as well, encampments. they'll gain strength every day like how settlements eventually become towns, but it'll be encampment to base

Well, it's not a total loss.  I never stored very much there to begin with.

Which reminds me, how large are the Sime?  They seem like more than just your average tribe.

Also, would 350,000 be a reasonable population for Jurech?

simeans are like terrorists. it seems like there isnt many of them but you can never get rid of them all

350k is fine

Okay.  Last I saw though on page three is that they were pushed to the interior of Condor, which would leave me to believe that there would not be a high density of Simeans in the area where Jurech is.  However, the fact that all three trading posts were wiped out almost immediately says otherwise, and that they have a pretty tight grasp on the region and are able to execute operations quickly.  Surely in 5-10 years a large number of Simeans couldn't have migrated southward without Jurech or any other native peoples noticing anything.
