Two Swedish Air Force Gripens take off to intercept an upgraded Viggen fighter stolen among other pieces of equipment earlier in the month.

The Swedish military reports that a train carrying military equipment and vehicles was attacked and the assailants made off with enough firepower for a battalion in Friesland.

When air force planes approach the Viggen, the pilots see that it's been repainted black with a white Lynx emblem on the tail. The plane's registration numbers seem to have been painted over.

"This is the Swedish Air Force, please change heading to-" The pilot is cut off when the Viggen unexpectedly dives below the clouds with full afterburner.

The fighters are given clearance to engage but the black jet comes back up and destroys one of the Gripens with its cannon before the Gripens even have a chance to engage. The second Gripen is crippled and the pilot has to return to base while the hostile jet flies into German airspace with full afterburner.

Upon spotting the Viggen, attempts at identifying it are made. However, considering no call had been made about any of the Swedish air forces entering German territory, multiple fighters are prepared and take off towards the aircraft.

There does seem to be a good amount of Anti-Aircraft behind the border of Friesland firing at the sight of the Viggen, however the amount of AA grows larger and larger the more deep the aircraft gets into the countryside plains of past-Netherlands.

The Viggen neutralizes several anti-air emplacements as it heads towards a certain NATO airbase in Southern Germany, the pilot of the craft employs radar jamming to disguise its position from the German aircraft. It seems that the Swedish report of high-specification equipment being stolen was accurate.

Swedish Armed Forces Central Command contacts the Germans and states that the pursuit fighters should tail the Viggen from a distance and not engage until it has reached its destination. [PMs yo]
