A missile-launched surveillance system designated for observation, targeting, and early-warning roles is placed into service with special operations units. The system is compatible with existing weapon platforms and can be launched from old-NATO, or New-Soviet craft. Thanks to the wonders of nanoscale manufacturing made possible by Scandinavian technological developments in recent years, several observation probes can be fitted within a missile. Probes can use a laser datalink for maximum data transmission speed to command craft.
Updated long-range observation systems are being set up along the Atlantic Defense Perimeter.
