And then my CBFD nostalgia just socks me in the jimmies.

Also, a F2P game with mods? Sounds cool. Hopefully you can download things like those without actually breaking the game.

Installation is actually pretty easy, you just toss some files and sometimes some addresses around it seems.

Man, I loved the forge mode in some of the more recent Halo games. I hope this game incorporates that in some way or another. The creative minigames people made were amazing sometimes.

Gamecheat13 just confirmed that it's in the game and that he's trying to unlock it.

Hey if y'all don't mind, I'm gonna convert this to a Halo megathread since 2 new trailers for 5 came out and doing so will hopefully prevent the third halo thread this month.

Here they are

both of the trailers seem to conflict with eachother
wtf?

"Hunt for the truth" aka find out which one is real? Idk.

Also what has me excited for Halo Online in NA is all the people who haven't really played PC before but want to play Halo Online, flock to it. And since I am well trained in both, I really want to be able to just slay all the inexperienced players.

Do you not see it.
Two playable characters.
A battle of the protagonists.
Multiple possible endings.

There's supposed to be one more game after this, so I don't think multiple endings would play out too well.

it's happened plenty of times before
developers just choose one ending to be canon

But then that's just an illusion of choice. Better off having one set ending.

It doesn't matter what's better. There's obviously two possible things that can happen, as seen in the trailers.

have you never played a video game before, or...

I have a theory on the trailers. It might go something like this.
At the beginning of halo 5, it might ask you who you're going to be playing as first. Agent Locke or John 117. I think the campaign might work in a similar fashion to halo 2, where the gameplay would be passed back and forth from Chief to Arbiter, but in this case, Locke to Locke or vise versa. I think at the end of the game (presumably where these two trailers are located) the first person you pick to play as will be the one interacting with the other. So if you picked Locke at the beginning, he will be the one to either shoot chief or let him live and such, vise versa with john.

As for the statues looking different for each person, its symbolism. In John's mind, he's worn out, has no directive, and can't decide what to do with himself after the "death" of Cortana. This is why the statue looks broken and smashed up. In Locke's mind, his views on chief are "perfect" and "savior". That Is why the statue is pristine and new.

In the end, we will have to wait and see at 10/21/15 for another trailer but also poses one question.
Which side are you on in Hunt the Truth?

This is complete conjecture, so I dunno why you're acting like its absolute, lol.

Something like Metro's 2033 ending was the only one that made any kind of sense for having two endings, and one not continue on.
