In the south, Burellian heavy artillery bombards any military depots, although they are few.  Burellian light artillery fires grapeshot at the cavalry and oncoming infantry, along with the usual volley of fire from standard infantry troops.  All forces are ordered to push forward.  Longbow I is again tested on the port cities, and its accuracy has improved.  Mariners land and begin to capture land.  With the enemy force almost completely annihilated, Wicherton is given one last chance to surrender.  They do not promise autonomy any more, but promise that if they comply, the toll will be less severe.  The quickly advancing forces meet almost no resistance, since the morale of the people in cities has turned pro-Burellis due to propaganda.  However, in the countryside, a few resisting farmers are extinguished quickly.

Vlastcovite troops use defeat-in-detail strategies to cause damage to the much larger Elmic force. Federal Troop use the mountainous terrain in the north as chokepoints, and while the tactic is remarkably effective, it doesn't do much to stave off the rest of the military.

The industrial centers around Soyuzagorsk crank out cannons to arm merchant ships and the smaller ships Vlast is able to replace. A prominent shipbuilder begins using plywood in ship construction. The largest ships Vlast can produce quick enough to be effective are frigates.

Political envoys are sent to northern territories to attemp to convince the locals to the north to join on the side of Vlast, for fear of assimilation by the Elmics. Obalei is also contacted for support.

In the East, the Dudal FD has largely been taken by Austra, however the locals see their opportunity to revolt and go on batstuff crazy drug-fueled rampages once more.

I like how some of this generation think it's okay to insult people and call it harmless.  It is not for the slanderer to decide if it's harmless or not, but how the receiver should interpret it.

I'm a regular nation RPer on the website nationstates, whose entire existence is to do just that. Both of you would have been removed.

The very first rule of any RP was and always will be that OOC and IC are completely separate and any connection between the two isn't to exist in RP. Juncoph's fun-poking was just that; it was supposed to be OOC and I had assumed Plethora had seen that, but perhaps not?

I can't fight with y'all, really.  Diplomacy really doesn't work how you think.  Really, if you throw a fit over the slightest setback due to poor actions in-character, then I can't really expect you to carry on roleplaying intelligently.  In order to know how nations work, you need to know how people work, first.

I gave the provision for the Three World Power Tiers well in advance from you running into tribal confederations.  You ignored it.  The Third World Powers were planned to allow the Spheres of trading influence within them, so I facilitated for your benefit.  I guess I can't convince you, but you just happened upon them and reacted aggressively to a sensitive situation.

Are you expecting imperial growth to be well-received by your neighbors?  Are you expecting your fairly recently-gained protectorates that you conquered primarily by military force to be neutral?  Are you really going to insult moderators because you have beef with them for not updating the map?  Are you really going to keep your protectorates with a level of autonomy that allows them to refrain from war and then claim that you have a large, united military?  You must be joking.  This is a mature strategical RP.

Furthermore, let's review what happened in the nineteenth century.  Yes, there was a lot of war, but there were also a lot of economic growth, revolutions, colonizations, etc.
