You're right by the equator and have no considerably high mountains, and have a cold sea on one side and a warm sea on the other.  If anything, you'd suffer from tropical storms in the winter.

UEK forces in Vlast territory hunker down and wait for winter to pass and much of the snow to melt away. Light to medium fortifications are constructed on the eastern land taken. More UEK troops are slowly moved towards the northeastern and southeastern fronts.


3 of the 13 mobile bunkers are lost to the snow and another 4 need repairs. All but two are left where they are. Some infantry, marksmen in particular, are given snow shoes to traverse the thick snow.

Marksmen apply the "sixes" tactic; covering target areas with 3 teams of 2, one marksmen and a watchmen, to cover an area or eliminate a target. Typically missions are followed by a rocket/howitzer bombardment to allow the teams to escape undetected.
