Camplight? Not really, there's a single quest down, and its also neat to explore to learn how it became irradiated. The ghoul troopers don't put up much of a fight.
Holy Hand Grenades

and there is a non-feral ghoul you can murder.

Yes, it has been 5 years. Another TES is fine but if FO4 is a MMORPG I will choke somone
I actually thought about that and I think it would be kind of interesting. Maybe a post-apocalyptic Runescape? That'd be cool.

There was custom engine made out that port over Fallout 1-2 World over that was used to make a Fallout MMO. Most of the player base consisted of roving bands of raiders from eastern that clashed for control of the cities and Self Delete bombers that would attack the NCR capital. You could start your own faction, travel all of the FO-1 and 2 locations along the west coast and go to new reno. You could craft items, mine resources to make them, you take npcs as slaves, have npc armies. It was interesting, he players gave the world that lawless feeling since you had thiefs pick pocketing players, the warbands, and the Self Delete bombers.

No, but they are tedious work considering I like to snipe them all for karma

2238 is dead, but other games use it's engine. You'll find it as FOnline reloaded and it was pretty active last time I checked. The server goes through server wipes though, so don't get too attached to any characters you make.

dead as in no one plays it? because if its still functional that would be interesting

Found it. Looks to be active. You and I can play ;)

any way to host your own servers?

I don't think so. There are currently 96 players online on the main server, though.

ehhhhh
i'd rather play with just some friends or at least play the older version since it would have very few players

Well, 96 is still pretty low for an MMORPG

I'd be for a fallout online but if they announce another elder scrolls game and no fallout, I'm going to shoot up a third world country
