Hence why I suggested he wait. The mods, depending on size, can increase the time it takes to get to the main menu drastically.

Don't take this the wrong way, but have you tried waiting?

With enough mods (I'm at about 58, for reference) the mojang screen takes 10-15 minutes to get to the main menu/splash screen.

If it takes even longer than that, it's a mod/computer issue.

Yeah, I'll try leaving it open for a while, might just be a first-time run thing.
