can you fix the spawns because some people goes in them then they spawn kill the whole enemy team

actually i just noticed that if my post forever ago was the original inspiration you've super missed the point

if anything this randomizer has a way lower skill ceiling because of the prevalence of homing weapons, instant-death impersonal explosives and guns that kill faster then you can respond

like if you get the jump on anyone and you have a gun worth using they are 100% guaranteed to die

if you want a low skill ceiling you have to have weapons with lots of room for accidental misuse (which doesn't mean things like 'a gun that occasionally kills the user' or 'a gun that fires rockets but sometimes the rockets just fall on the ground in front of you and explode, killing the user' or 'a gun that alternates on a static pattern between a normal mode that deals damage to enemies and another mode that kills the user')

There needs to be a map rotator of the old and new map

Made some better loops of Strike the Earth and The Fateful Return. Strike the Earth is compressed a bit due to its length.

I'd also suggest having more weapons that are fun to use but not entirely practical, requiring some creativity and skill to get kills with them.

The fun about randomizer is that players dont need to rely on skill alone. It helps, but randomization ensures new winners each round. I hate DMs where there's a handful of people who had the time to study and practice the weapon sets and then proceed to dominate everybody.

Skill ceilings in concept suck in online play unless you want to sink time and effort into the game in exchange for the fun.
Its also especially silly when the longevity of the server your trying to get good usually last less than a month.

this was actually intended, because i figured that a server that requires a high skill ceiling wouldn't be anywhere near as battlemix is right now. it would've died out in the first week because it would've been hard to retain an audience.

i'll try to think of some misuse effects on the more powerful weapons

I don't see why you still have "quake" as an option for weapons. Whenever there's a quake match, people either /rtv or at least complain. You can still have the quake weapons in the game (some are good), but I think it's time to ditch the matches where it's solely quake.
