As I said, there are people like this in all parties.
But in regards to the 3 points about Multiculturalism, I have to say I agree with some of what they say. I don't believe it's right that there should be people who enter the UK from other cultures and don't attempt to integrate at all, and that traditional British values aren't upheld in class rooms as much as they used to be.
I don't think it's tribal to want people to respect your culture. It's not calling for people to completely throw away their culture when they enter the UK either, simply that they don't put up barriers in the community. I would be surprised if you'd never noticed the segregation that some people in various cultures instill on themselves living in the cities of the UK.
And in regards to the Burga comment, I whole-heartedly agree with that. I can't at all find it tribal.
The Burqa is not a religious requirement for people, it's not like insisting Sikhs remove their turbans.
Why should it be unacceptable for me to enter a bank wearing a motorcycle helmet covering my entire face, but another person can wear a burqa covering their entire face.
I would happily adopt France's law on banning the Burqa.
As for the YI rep, I can't speak on that. There's no comment I can find anywhere from UKIP themselves saying why he was removed, so it's just one persons word.
I found other articles stating that, since his removal, the ex-YI chairman had since written articles on things like "What's wrong with Necrophilia". If those are also things he's advocating or bringing up, alongside discussion of same-love marriage, then I wouldn't want him being associated with my party. But it would be easy for them to claim he was fired solely for the same-love marriage comments.
But when it comes down to it, I don't vote for them on those views, or the actions of individual members. I vote for their views on the EU, the movement of wealth over the Scottish border, and open-borders.
Ever heard of dubai? rofl
Arresting women for having their arms exposed, or kissing isn't exactly a civil thing.
And the UAE uses Stoning and Flogging as punishments, and it's punishable by death to be an apostate.
