Hey so how does the Eye of Death work? I looked at the wiki but there was a lot of stuff I didn't really understand.

I had it in my inventory for a bit and I was immediately invaded by what I assumed to be an NPC spirit... If I keep it in my inventory, will this keep happening? Does this allow other players to invade my world lol? If I'm not gud can I put it in the bottomless box to make sure nobody can invade me?

EDIT: also was is it just me or was the gaping dragon a hilariously easy fight

I think raw would be okay early in the game but yeah pretty worthless later

I only got up to about killing the Old Demon King so far but I have been using a Raw Astora Staight Sword this whole time? I think it outputs like 245 and yeah that's pretty decent for earlier in the game; I have been considering changing but from what I've been doing my guy seems more of a holy knight type guy (bouncing between Cathedral Knight Armor and Undead Legion Armor while using miracles), so is there a more holy-ish kind of weapon (I'm not really knowledgeable on weapons outside of a dual-sword-wielding build)? I have been considering Wolnir's Holy Sword since I got that but are there any other straight swords that seem "holier" to use coming up anytime soon?

when stats get to 40 the scaling starts to suck

this is where refined comes in. before you hit 40 on a skill, ref is sort of pointless but when you hit 40 and you put refined on a weapon it will scale well with dex along with str and thus you can start leveling dex to keep strengthening the build

gaping dragon is seen as one of the easiest ds bosses
