I loving hate alt f4'ers/alt tabbers. There was this one ass that would alt tab everytime I landed a parry, which was pretty much everytime I invaded him. RIP all my red eye orbs

thats how i felt after beating the giant thingy in the cave its one of the first bosses I was like where do i go now wtf

dark souls is generally bad at guiding the character although that's the one cheap difficulty i like about the series

that being said, when i was new to ds1 i went down the catacombs and not towards undead burg

...and in ds2 i went to heide's tower of flame and not the forest of fallen giants...

i have played ds2 for 40 more hours than i did ds1.

i love the combat. it's so goddamn fun. my favorite boss is dragonslayer. of course they ruined that fun with sotfs making him forgetall easy. there are a lot of stuffty ass bosses, like wtf is this covetous demon like, really? and manikins are bullstuff.

my favorite area is dragon shrine because (at least in sotfs) it feels like you're being challenged by like, a prophecy or something. it's SO HARD but it isn't bullstuff, it's just challenging. and wtf is with this fireball lizard frog cave whatever the forget. like really man

i guess ds1 got old idk but ds3 is going to be a combo of the best things from ds1 and 2 so i'm excited

239 physical + 269 fire at +5 and 10 manity
not to mention you can get it right after quelaag if ur cool
or
giant blacksmith hammer, just kill the giant blacksmith in brown town rodeo, it uses twinkling tits, and deals 200 phys and 300 lightning but you need to two hand it
also

get cursed, have the dusk crown ring and rtsr on, get the RTSR to proc, put a sanctus on your back (don't worry about the FTH requirement, it only affects it's damage if it was right handed iirc), use Power Within (when cursed + dusk ring the Sanctus regen completely negates PW hp drain) and get unlimited damage

i always thought dual wielding UGS's would be hilarious and impractical

...i killed the old iron king via dual wielding the greatsword and the zweihander after trying (and failing) to kill him with just the zwei + a shield
