whats wrong with that? is it just easier in general?

like the place you go right afterward is bullstuff. you can't kill anything and everything instakills you.
don't forget the goons hiding in corners that instantly heal all the damage you did to the guys who instakill you

dex is usually considered the meta that new players go for because of weapons like the uchikatana or whatevertheforget

yeah its easier in general, but if you understood ds combat and went for strength builds instead, you can get more damage in your attacks because weapons that use strength generally do tons more damage, however swing slower. hence the whole giantdad meme, the build is so popular in pvp because you could take down another player almost instantly if you can hit them and stunlock them, then the rest of your swings finish them off while they cant do stuff

my current DS3 build is a bootlegged giantdad, low enough carry weight so I don't fatroll, however enough strength endurance and vitality that I survive getting hit and can dish out serious damage. Havels ring is delicious.

If you guys need to PVP to get your mound-maker items for 100% completion, allow me to reccomend the forgetin second bonfire at the boreal valley. half the time when you invade, its someone embered from wolnir and they're fighting the giant beast on the bridge. so you can either watch them probably die, or, if they're doing kinda okay, throw a hunter charm on them and watch them panic to death.

e z money.

this is what i do. i dont even know if im really considered a dex build cause i just co-level dex/strength/vigor. i have like 30 something dex and 30 something strength.
i use the pontiff knight curved sword atm, might switch to something else

yeah forget that

fun fact: poise is actually in this game
it has been disabled, however

Finally beat the stupid dancer with the deep battle axe

I just heard there is no poise. Great.

because that worked so well in DS2.

Finally beat the stupid dancer with the deep battle axe
if you want to fight (imo) the best boss in the game, go to the doorway on the left after climbing up the ladder
don't summon help for him because he becomes a lame boss if you do

edit: i'm not talking about the boss in the garden

spoilerish:
after you beat the consumed king, go through the door at the back of his arena, and at the very end of the area inside past the doorway there should be a chest past the path of the dragon emote, behind it is an illusory wall that leads to a secret area, he's the boss there

who was behind the fist weapon design
they're loving horrid
how did we go from garbage ds2 where the fist weapons were loving amazing to this mess
nobody used fist weapons in ds1 ok ds2 was actually a step up in that department
don't step back fromsoft please I need even more insane fist weapons you cunts

hell loving armor of thorns is more viable than these loving excuses for weapons

Estoc is king because no poise.

Estoc is king because no poise.
personally I think it's because it takes almost no stamina to stab with
