on an actual note, I think you just need a faster wep other than the zwei, or upgrade your vitality until you can take 2 hits instead of one, then get the timings down for rolling

nobody like having to wade through slow ass swamps while taking constant damage, and while having to dodge enemies
it doesnt matter if its easy or not, nobody wants to do anything there to begin with, its just not fun

Just because no one wants to do it that doesn't mean it shouldn't be part of the game.

DS1, 2 and 3 had a tiny little poison filled section.

Demon's Souls the entire world area was nothing but poison. Demon's Souls area was basically like 3 giant blighttowns instead of one tiny one..


You also only get like 2 usable checkpoints in Demon's Souls. 1 at the start and 1 for every boss. Unlike DS3 where you will see a bonfire literally 10 feet away from another bonfire.

Yes, yes, I get that I'm a handicap, but I finally made it past Taurus Demon. I've kicked down the ladder for the bonfire under Fire-Dragon Bridge, and I know the strategy for getting through the first bit of Undead Parish, I've just had some bad luck the arches being a bit fast on the draw.

Taurus demon is easy. I forgot how chunky DS1 was when I replayed it but I started off as a knight then took off my armor because I was moving so loving slow I couldn't stand it.

I usually run under the drake so I don't have to deal with the rats
if you stand to the left he comes down to forget you up and you can sprint under him and run to the bonfire below where he sits and he'll fly off

i feel it's worth pointing out that in the halberd class are only 2 halberds out of 9 weapons, which means there are more bardiches (there's 3) than halberds in the halberd class

the glaive isn't even a glaive either, it's a bardiche

I had the best luck when I had 1 other person with me who was a mage. I used an upgraded deep battle axe and I used the pillars to hide behind when I need a break to heal
