Author Topic: Boston Bomber Dzhokar Tsarnaev Sentenced to Death  (Read 7533 times)

didn't he WANT to die by being a terrorist?

(ironically goes both ways though)
The hypocrisy from both sides is very disgusting.

Life in Prison without the possibility of parole is already a death sentence. With both verdicts you die in prison; but in one, you die quicker but get some decent treatment beforehand (last meal, lots of opportunities for appeals or to even clear your name, etc).

But hey, I guess just passively letting someone die on their own is better than ending the suffering that is their life right? That's really what we're debating here isn't it?

Nah, people said that the guy should be tortured before he got executed.

Similar statements have already been made. We should have a life without parole for those who don't read the read and keep saying the same statement over and over.

We should blow him up with his own bomb, that'll teach him.

Death penalty is also more expensive than life in prison (the appeals process is really expensive)

I don't even look at the death penalty as an ethical debate of which is more humane. That's entirely up to your own opinion and not something we can really argue about.

The reason I don't support the death penalty is because it's unnecessarily expensive and provides essentially the same service as life imprisonment. Whether the death penalty is worse than life imprisonment or the other way around is irrelevant.

Soooo Obama just pardoned this guy
