Considering that a Windows os comes out every 3 or 4 years I doubt many people are going to be using windows 7 and 8 by then.

So I reserved my copy of windows 10 and put my email address to get a notification last night. After that my attention span can't handle more than a month till launch so I downloaded the Tech Preview and I can't seem to find the get windows 10 notification. (I might have to update windows.) Even though I'm on the tech preview, can I still get windows 10 from the notification in the email?
