I dunno, I feel like New Vegas was kinda a letdown? It was kinda empty, even The Strip itself felt really empty and abandoned with not much going on, even though it was supposed to be the bustling night-life of the wastes. I mean, for what was supposed to be the highlight of the entire game, it was a little underwhelming even if it was supposed to be. The new towns look like the designers put years of design and love into them, and they all seem to stand out.
I had to download a repopulation mod so I didn't feel so isolated lol. It's a
Prety cool mod though. There's a ton of new factions, reload factions and hundreds of people on the strip now.

A cyberdog of Dogmeat
nope just robodog, dogmeat is pariah dog

It looks like they've got some nice set-pieces and worked more on environment design and scale, a lot less barren and bland than Fallout NV. I like that the cities actually look like they have some life to them. I'm guessing new designers or directors?
Boring bland deserts was Fallout 1-2s setting, and believe it or not it actually looks like what it does over here. It also kind of made since that there was little habitation since nukes actually leave nothing behind. The strip was kind of empty, but obsidian only had one year to develop the game.

Yeah, that was because of last-gen limitations. It was supposed to be an enormous city filled with people and urban things, but consoles denied that to the game.

that tightsuit tho

Higher res (click for 1920x1080)

you can blame bethesda for the potato quality
guy in the spotlight looks like he has a cyborg arm or something. left hand.

Hes probably an android. The androids are made in the commonwealth after all.

Holy loving stuff on my richard. I never thought they would ever release Fallout 4. ;-;

what the forget why did they stick rocket boosters on the USS constitution
did that thing seriously survive the war and all the years that followed
this isnt criticism im legitimately confused and curious
glad they got rid of that disgusting filter though

So im seriously unimpressed by the character models in the trailer. Hope they're nicer on launch.

^^^
in 3 it looks like that the entire wasteland was irradiated to hell, and in New Vegas (particularly Legion locations) it looks like the entire region is literally on fire.

:o
maybe he's a cyborg

my favorite part was the civvies running on top of the vault just using the stock-standard ingame run animation from 3 and NV
god i hope they fix animations, the setting, stylization, and environments look great but it'll just be immersion-shattering to have the bethesda-trademarked expressionless bodysnatchers populating the whole place
at LEAST get rid of the good ol' diagonal run stuffe

Yeah, like if they're still using the same loving engine that they used for Morrowind, ill seriously consider not even buying the game until it goes on sale for cheap.

I have heard a lot on reddit that its the same engine as skyrim, not morrowind

No I'm positive he's one of those androids they talk about in Fallout 3

Pretty sure Skyrim runs on the same engine that Morrowind runs on.
