I thought it looked pretty cool barring the (as usual) atrocious animations. I just hope that the writing is up to snuff and not (mostly) stupid like FO3.

NO

Xbox one and PS4 for consoles? At least they have a PC version because forget Xbox one. It can kiss my ass
not everyone likes the piece of stuff that is an Xbox one. This may just make me buy a PS4.
why do you even care?
if you're going to get it on pc, then stop griping about other platforms you won't get it on

At least we have mods.

Too colorful even for classic fallout standards.

I prefer colorful over green

To be honest I don't give a flying forget about the original fallout games, they don't even exist for all I care. If fallout 4 is a good game in it's own merit, then that's good enough for me.

I agree, its sometimes good for a game to put a franchise in a new direction, even though there are obviously some exceptions.

Changing the color scheme isn't really reinventing the series, either

Now all we need is half life three.

hopefully it's made for the pc
Cant tell if this is sarcasm

Fallout3's brown and green filter was hideous. The colors are welcome change, but the bright vivid colors remind me too much of Sunset Overdrive and Bio shock Infinite. The game also doesn't have to exactly follow a formula like Call of Duty where it gets to the point of being stale, but it shouldn't radically change to the point where it becomes something else like Dead Space and Command and Conquer.

Hopefully they add innovations from NV as well as some proper RPG elements like Damage Threshold and Armor Class without completely undermining the first person aspect. I also hope they bring back the classic slide show ending where they show how all your actions affected each person, place, and faction as well as your followers.

It looks great really. I liked the new cities they have, I don't really care that they are colorful I hated Fallout 3's bland green stuff. Also did anyone notice Troy Baker is voicing the protagonist?

Go away with your console war stuff nobody cares. Just get it on the console you like and be quiet.
