concerning whether or not the game takes place after 3 or New Vegas, keep in mind it's been a long time since the bombs dropped. and having a better sense in color will attract people who find previous Fallouts visually boring, even though that vibrant colors could defeat the purpose of post-apocalyptic survival.

Honestly it would be a nice change to have a vibrant colour scheme in a Fallout game.

New Vegas was kind of colourful in the strip... But not nearly enough.

It's fine that the sky is blue and not everything is brown or gray but they've got bright colors up the ass. lookit all that yellow

Real life is vibrant you know?

Pretty sure Skyrim runs on the same engine that Morrowind runs on.
Morrowind is Gamebryo
Skyrim is Creation Engine

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gamebryo << Skyrim isn't listed

On top of being very late to the Dark Souls party with THIS coming out i'm never going to leave the house ever again.

it's 200+ years after a nuclear war, colors fade

yeah maybe the ground because of grass going away and dust flying everywhere, not everything else, not building materials, not paint, etc

The graphics look pretty nice IMO, the only thing I could really critique is the dog model.

At least Bethesda isn't pulling a Watch Dogs here with the trailer

lookit all that yellow

I mean, its a video game with super mutants, aliens, love robots, and lots of improbable things. Colors would only break the immersion so much.

paint fades??
i dunno I'm not really complaining tho, it just stood out to me. the game looks great.

there would either be a lot more plant life in 200 years after a nuclear war or everything would be dead. the game isn't realistic and I think the colors are fine
