i did both and i'm still super hype
i have dreams about this game

For some reason I'm bored with Fallout 4 now

Give me your copy so I can gift it to my friend.

i'm super pumped for it.

I'm inbetween jobs right now and I'll have a job by release so that kinda sucks lol. I sort of wish I'd be unemployed for longer just to play this.

You should see GSP's video about Obama and Fallout 4, it's relevant here lol.

Yeah Idk maybe it's just lost its mystery or maybe it's the difference from the other games.

Character system (not sure if this was shown before but it was uploaded officially today)

I REALLY like that new perk selection screen, don't have to scroll through that massive list trying to remember what skills you need to level up next time, though I'm not sure how I feel about perks seemingly relying exclusively on SPECIAL

The menu looks great.
I love that it was used in the SPECIAL videos. My brother and I were trying to identify some of the perks in those from the symbols, but it was a bit difficult in black/white and the grainy 50's look.

As for them being exclusively SPECIAL based, that's a little weird.
It certainly gives SPECIAL a better use than it has had, but is that at the cost of Skills?
I might not care for the Barter skill too much, but it used to be that if there was a perk that I wanted and it needed it, plus another Skill/Special, then I might invest in it a little bit to get that perk. Now I might just ignore it entirely, if I don't care for it.

But maybe it works perfectly fine.
I wonder if this means we will have fewer SPECIAL enhancing items/perks, like we did in FO3/NV.
Like that perk that raises all your SPECIAL to 9, and the Implants in NV.

I certainly like the idea of all perks having seperate levels.
And I can only wonder what bonuses there are to things like Bloody Mess (although it's probably a mundane increase from +5% damage to +10/15%, rather than a new effect when killing).

I tend to completely ignore Barter as well, my first playthrough or two of FO3 taught me how to make money both there and in NV, so I easily made my way to a ridiculous sum of caps and had almost nothing to spend it on even with a measly 15 Barter

Later I installed Project Nevada hoping it would reduce that problem but all I ended up with is nobody to sell my stuff to and even less stuff to buy with the caps I did have

I think Barter is only decent as a Speech Check.
But then, most of the time those come up (at least in New Vegas), it seems there's also an option you can choose if your Speech/Charisma is high enough.

Money is pretty easy to make just from selling loot.
And most of the time the Wasteland provides you with all the armour, weapons, ammo or food/health you need.
I mostly end up just spending money on doctors curing my radiation, rather than drinking all my RadAways.

But my point above is also true if you don't focus on other skills, like Unarmed, or Energy Weapons, if you happen to fight with different stuff.
If they have no relation to any perks, then there's no incentive to throw a few points their way.
Which might be a good thing, I suppose. At least you'll be spending your points in an area you're going to use.

Wow barter is the best
I agree with Nonnel on this one. Barter is forgetin great.

man forget barter

speech is best, if only because of the myriad applications of terrifying presence

all 2 of them
