I'll take the vow to not respond to Tony ever again

Vent below

I am quite angry right now. Reason is I got this game but none of my loving controllers will loving sync to my goddamned PS4. I tried everything solution I found, and only one of them partially worked. What's more is when I hold down the actual loving power button, when I turn it back on it flips its stuff at me, whining at me about how I didn't turn it off properly. If I had a competent PC I would have asked for it for PC, but I got to deal with this bullstuff

What sort of cable do PS4 controllers use to charge? Is it a custom PS4 one or a generic sort?

The Xbox One uses a USB-microUSB cable, the generic sort most phone chargers use.
If the PS4 is the same, and acts the same, then connecting your controller to the PS4 with a charger cable should sync them up, and they should stay synced even if you unplug it.

Sorry if I misunderstand the issue. I haven't used a PS4 and am unsure what exactly syncing refers to, if not connedcting a wireless controller to the console.

ps4 also uses micro usb

The companion still can't die. In Fallout 1 I had some intense battle with super mutants and my companion Ian died in combat. Now I could either A: Reload and deal with this intense fight that takes up to 30 minutes to complete or B: get on with the loss of Ian and mourn him later.

I picked B.

I tried all of this but I think something's forgeted up inside the system, even though it was inactive for so long.

lord tony on release day:

What's up with Cheat Engine?
if you mean why I don't wanna use it, it's just because I don't like having to start up an extra program when I play. not a big deal, but not preferable either

What can I say? The dog is absolutely useless, just let it die.

I had to kill this one dog in Fallout 2 because it was lowering my luck. I had no choice but to put it down.

lord tony's entire argument seems to be "the older games were different and i preferred that, therefor fallout 4 is bad"
muh nostalgia

It's not nostalgia if I've played the original Fallout games in 2008.

I actually researched the fallout series before jumping into 3 and then when I got to 3 I noticed how everything that made 1 and 2 great was gone.

I wish I hadn't insisted on getting Deacons perk before I betray the Railroad because now I am attached to him and don't want to lose him.

I'm also trying for all companion perks, besides Danse as he is no longer available.

I have to say, the jump in difficulty from Hard to Very Hard is startling

I've actually been using chems on a regular basis just to survive, it's fantastic
